kunwar amar was walking to and fro in his room staring at his Iphone everynow and then thinking " ek phone tak nahi kiya apne best friend ko wish karne ke liye aaj friendship day hai madam ko ye bhi yaad nahi hoga."
He was talking to himself when his chain of thoughts were broken byy his sweet puppy troy trying to get his attention.
He took troy in his arms and started talking to him" dekha merei best friend ne mujhe ab tak wish nahi kiya itni busy hogayi bas ek tum hi ho mere friend jisne mujhe aaj yaad kiya warna wo toh bhool hi gayi"
suddenly his phone ranged up " shakti hogi but as soon as he saw the caller id his smile disappeared it was shantanu.
he unwantedly picked up the call" haan shan bol"
shaan: happy friendship day buddy
kunwar: same to u
shaan: kya hua tu itna low kyun sound kar raha hai aur kahan hai aaj shoot par nahi aana kya
kunwar: kuch nahi aur shoot haan bas aa raha tha chal main nikalta hai sets par milte hain and cuts the call.
shaan: isse kya hua jarur shakti ne ab tak wish nahi kiya hoga
kunwar got dressed up quickly and rushed for the sets coz he was already late due to his thinking process while driving the car also his mind was chnating only one thing: itni busy hogai ki usse itna special day bhi yaad nahi raha".
He switched on the radio to refresh his mind.

kunwar was so happy hearing the msg it was like his long lived wish had been fulfilled he cursed himself for thinking like that and picked up his phone to call his best buddy and wish her and seek a sorry for his childsh behaviour but her phone kept comming busy"" kahin busy hogi bad mein phone kar loonga thank u universe ji for giving such a sweet friend to me thank u alot finally he drove with a million dollar smile that reached upto his face.
He parked his car in the parking lot and once again tried her number but it again came busy but keeping aside his thoughts he entered the sets where hs was greeted by the watchman who gave him a yellow rose with a note which read"friendship means mixing of two hearts in one mind".
He recognized the handwiting and smiled.
he looked around to find her but couldn't. he thanked the watchman and proceeded towards the sets on the way whoever he met gave him a yellow rose each accompanied by a note with msgs which read :
" your friendship is a gift i enjoy opening everyday"
"It feels wonderful to have a friend like u"
"true friends are always there for each other as u have been for me"
" thank u for being my friend"
and many more till the time he reached the sets he alomst had 75 roses with him and each with a msg that brought a smile on is face all the while he kept trying her number and looking around for her but none worked.
the sets was all dark no lighting , sound and not a single soul at that particular moment existed he wondered " kahan gaye sab"
He called everyone shouting their names but got no reply in return but suddenly the lights came on te whole place was decorated with white and blue ballons. the decoration was simple but elegant just the way he liked them.
He was delighted slowly his favourite tune started playing " yaaron dosti hi toh zindagi hai" and the projector started playing his and shakti's pictures from their did days how the met for the frst time , their fights , their masti, their roothna manana , pulling each other's leg and again by the end of the day their friends forever attitude.
Their megical chemistry, their dance their whole journey from did to d3 played on the screen. kunwar's happiness had no bounds he couldn't express his happiness in words he was spell bounded to see that but his attention was diverted by the voice which reached to his ears yet once again bringing a smile on his face:-

kunwar glared at her and she made a cute puppy face and once again they hugged each other wishing to be friends forever
