I know the pain of knowing a loved one who had an unfaithful spouse. My aunt's ex-husband had multiple affairs despite being the father of two sons and married to a modern wife. It was difficult for her to move on in life as her husband left her after the split and she had to raise the kids. He funded for their education but she still had to raise her sons to young men. Thus, I always get angered to hear about disloyal spouses.

it can totally destroy a woman's self image & womanhood! I have lot of appreciation for women like your aunt who not only survive infidelity, but go on to raise good kids!

She has constantly faced taunts from relatives where she was accused of lacking something which in turn caused her hubby to be unfaithful.

with all said may be true but what kaumadi's fault? what has she done wrong... why should she pay the price for infidelity and being a good bahu?

She is a strong lady. Unfortunately, she's unlucky as she has lost one of her sons recently after experiencing the joy of being a grandma. She has always motivated me to embrace my heritage but also be a girl from the 21st century. It's good to have someone like her in my life but I don't know how to reduce her pain. Anyways, it is due to this that I don't trust some men. Some of the men that I came across were verbally or physically abusive to their wives. Thus, I sometimes fear whether in the future I would get a good spouse or not.

I just hope he realizes soon enough but for the time being this is actually an interesting concept because it happens in real life. The show nailed it again with showing real events that happen in the real world.

sad! No matter who is unfaithful, society conveniently blames the girl!

You stay strong and always have belief in yourself , be mentally strong and if posibble financially independent , men cannot take such women for granted easily ...don't worry , you will find a good man , just be open and positive .

Mukut's extra-marital affair is off-course not justifiable, being a father of two..but I think his mother, UB, is equally responsible for his attitude towards his wife...as you have already mentioned UB's restrictive controlling regime, which is not allowing her children to speak their heart out and only following her decisions irrespective of their consent.

agree this is just bcoz of the controlled strict atmosphere of the house
