Episode begins in the Kitchen - Pankhuri's Dadaji tells her that though Aditya had offered to go into partnership with Kailash to help us out of our financial problems, at this time we want you to convince Aditya that it would not be advisable to undertake that venture. Pankhuri objects saying how will you all manage. Dadaji says that is not your concern but mine and I can handle my responsibilities well, you concentrate on managing your home. (Finally Miss Interfering Ena gets put in her place).
Dadaji and Pankhuri's parents are leaving for Kullu and take leave of everybody - Manik says that I'm glad that before going my brother got to spend time with such a DIL like Pankhuri. Sheela and Latika watch the drama with plastic smiles and Sheela says "Ek aur aa gaye Jai Pankhuri Maiyya". She says yes Daddyji was very lucky in both his DILs and introduces Latika.
As the Dewans enter the house, Avantika asks Manik where's his wife. He says that it's because of that one woman the two brothers had to separate and he doen't want to think of that woman anymore. Just then, their lawyer comes in saying that he's come to read Purushottam Dewan's will. Anuj says that both the wills that Dad had prepared I destroyed so where's the question of a new will and anyway we're not interested at the moment. Lawyer says that this will was prepared by PD one day before he died so he's come to disclose its contents. Anuj again denies, in this he's supported by Hrish and Avantika who say that it is only 3 days since PD died and this is not the right time to read the will.
Rubel comes in saying that he's the one who called the lawyer about the will and he wants to know who is getting what. Again Harish, Aditya and and Anuj try to convince him and Rubel starts creating a scene. Avantika says if it is so important to Rubel let's have the will read now. Manik says that PD only wanted his family to live happily and together and till yesterday you were all supporting each other so why is everyone fighting now. All these fights would be disturbing PD.
Rubel turns n him and says that this is a Dewan family matter and he being an outsider should not try to take their PD's place. Harish and Anuj scold Rubel for being rude to Manik. Rubel says there are so many senior citizens in India - does that mean I have to let all of them dictate to me. Manik gets upset and wants to leave but Anuj stops him. Finally it is decided that the will be read in Manik's presence.
Lawyer reads the will.PD has left 50% of business and Mansion to Pankhuri and 50% to Manik. All major decisions in business and family to be taken only after Harish's approval. Rest of the family to continue to enjoy their existing perks and allowances as well as shares in the business. (Funny thing this will reminded me of Sholay - Aadhe idhar jao, aadhe udhar jao aur baki mere peeche aao)
All are stunned, Harish is the first one to react. He's like Dad knew very well I'm an actor so why's he involving me in all this. Rubel finally bursts out that he should stop acting. Adi tries to say something - Rubel tells him that he should shut up because directly or indirectly he got all the powers and major chunk of property. (Must say Rubel is right and the will is totally unfair). Rubel then asks everybody that they all blamed him for being selfish but even when he'd tried to change and be like everyone else he only got a raw deal. When they were kids also Adi got all the attention and love and now he got everything without asking, while he Rubel was always discriminated against.
No one has anything to say against Rubel's allegations. Rubel says that they all might be happy to stay silent but he would challenge this will in court. Manik then says I know why PD gave me this share but I'll gladly give all my share of business and property to you, only don't drag our family name in courts. At this time Anuj speaks up saying that this was the final will prepared by his father and as a dutiful son he's going to make sure that his father's wishes are carried out to the letter. No one will contravene the terms of the will or challenge it.
Precap: Manik tells the family that this is the 12th day of Pd's death and this day is not spent in mourning but in celebrating life. Avantika is shown doing Arti just then Manik's family enter - his wife, two young girls and a young man who's on wheel-chair and seems to be mentally handicapped - who's who to be disclosed in tomorrow's episode I guess. Btw, all of them dressed in village attire - complete contrast to the sophisticated and rich Dewans.
