Whilst I've enjoyed the AsYa scenes in the past few episodes, helped throughly by the absence of The Billi, I'm actually waiting for the real Asad Ahmed Khan to come back. This overly loving romantic type is a bit OTT for me and a little bit unrealistic given that the man had to overcome 20 over years of supressed emotions.😕
Loving Zoya and wanting to spoil her and fulfill all her wishes is in keeping with his character of always wanting to protect and keep happy the important people in his life - previously his Ammi & Nazma. And certainly after the pain he went through after the Nikah adn even after he found Zoya it is understandable he'd like to make amends and is willing to stretch himself and do things out of his comfort zone.
But i still think it will be a whole lot more romantic when he goes back to the 3 piece suit business tycoon and zoya is the playful life companion adding spice, colour and joy in his life.
