Love Beckons – Part – 2
Aarti and Yash walked together towards their home. Yash had his one hand over her shoulder in a gentle hold and the other held her hand, as both looked into each other's eyes in a continuous gaze. They kept walking but their eyes were fixed on the other. There was so much to say without saying.
As they reached inside, they heard a voice: Yash, what are you two doing at this hour outside the house?
It was Gayatri. She had got up to get some water for her room.
Both quickly let go of their hold on each other and Aarti was quite uncomfortable. Yash spoke: Ma, we were missing the kids and so were not able to sleep. So I thought Aarti and I could take a walk --- that's all.
Gayatri: Okay, as long as all is well I am fine.
As she walked into her room she made sure to have a look at both her son and daughter-in-law as she was indeed happy for both of them. She wanted them to now start behaving as any normal couple would!
They reach their room and Aarti was feeling slightly nervous at her what happened. She never thought she would get swayed by Yash's charm. She got lost in her thoughts.
Yash: Aarti, looks like this room is not that lucky for me. You were better off in the garden!
Aarti smiles and tries to avoid Yash's glance at her.
Yash came towards her.
Yash: Aarti, are you alright? Relax.
He hugged her gently before he tried to move ahead with his next.
He wanted her to look straight into his eyes which she wasn't doing.
Yash screamed slightly: Ouch!
Aarti immediately looked at him.
Yash: Something has gone into my eyes. Can you please check it out?
Aarti carefully moved closer to his eyes and with her fingers raising his eyelids to see what was wrong.
The time was just right for Yash to lower his face and brush his lips on hers.
She collected herself quickly and tried to retreat back to a safe distance but Yash had her close to him with his arms tight around her waist.
Yash: Let's make this special dear.
Aarti was quite unsure and kept avoiding his look as that was all she
could do.
Yash once again said: Please Aarti.
Now Aarti was already completely carried away and she had to allow him to go ahead. She was quite passive still.
Yash tried his best to evoke some kind of a response but in vain.
He now started teasing her by moving his hands up from her waist towards her ears and gently stroked behind her ear and playing with her ear lobes.
It worked. Aarti started responding and they experienced their first passionate kiss.
After a while, Aarti pushed him a little aside and said: Yashji, we can't go any further please --- not as yet.
Yash let her go and smiled.
Yash: Okay Aarti. It is just the beginning. I'll wait whenever you're ready. You please relax.
Aarti looked at him smiled with a slight gratitude for understanding as she went and slept on her side of the bed.
Yash lay down and looked at Arpita's picture again which now seemed to him as smiling. Yash smiled back but made sure not to start blabbering as he had done earlier.
Next day, the children returned and they had a safe and enjoyable trip from school.

After 3 months
Palak: Papa, we have another trip coming up and this time it is for a week. We need your permission for it and also a signature on the consent letter.
Yash gets excited as he remembered the last time the kids were away --- and how Aarti and he had got closer.
But he also remembered that Aarti did not want to send them the next time. He also had promised that they would reconsider then. So he looks out for Aarti.
She comes there with a smile.
Yash: Aarti, the kids have another trip coming up.
Hearing this she looks at him and smiles.
Yash smiles too as he continues: I think we should not send them this time as you really were missing them, right?
Aarti goes and hugs the three kids and says: Yashji, the kids happiness is OURS isn't it?
That was a statement which said a lot more….
Both shared a glance as Yash signed the paper.
The kids were away and AarYa were alone once again ---- after 3 months during which they got to know each other more and more. They had long conversations which never seemed to end. In fact, they were quite comfortable on all fronts except the physical which they were yet to explore.
Yash came to their room at night.
Yash: So Aarti, tonight also you'll find it difficult to sleep?
Aarti walks towards him: Yes, you guessed correctly.
Yash: Then why did you allow me to sign the papers?
Aarti goes very close to him and looks straight into his eyes and says: Who says the kids absence has to be the reason for my being awake?
Yash was stunned. Was this "his Aarti"?
Yash: Oh----then what else could be the reason?
Aarti returns to her shy self and says: Yashji, we could move further now, I think.
Yash smiled at her sweet approval.
He made sure to give her the most beautiful feelings by offering himself to her completely.
She took a little while to respond as always but surely did.
Yash and Aarti were now one!
