What an episode truth came out but not the way one expected they would, when CC decided not to expose UB to the family I thought what a disappointment but then I saw her confront UB in private which was great! I'm glad the masks are off and now the real story, the one we should've seen all this time has started! Let the games begin!

Today Umaben and Chhanchhan wore exactly the same colors ... red - for happiness and festivity, and green - for prosperity ... in exactly the opposite combination. Umaben's blouse was green, her saree was red with a green border. Chhanchhan's blouse was red, her dupatta was green with a red border.

Her lehnga was red ... the same color as Umaben's saree ...

So their basic goals are exactly the same ... preservation of the family ... but their paths are opposite.

Stil into symbolism I see 😆 but you are right Dia, their goals are the same but their path in accomplishing that goal is different. I look forward to how CC incorporates the nayi soch on a very stubborn UB who is convinced the nayi soch path brings nothing but destruction

Side note.. data point ... Green and red/maroon are considered as auspicious colors by the Gujaratis... worn when something new starts!!

This also marks a new start to the UB/CC relationship and a new start for the serial maybe!!

Finally managed to write my take , what an episode !

In my limited experience of watching indian tv soaps , the 1 hr episodes have usually been fillers and drags but not in this case.

It was a slow build up to the confrontation in the end , loved all the ya ya scenes in the episode today , the way UB looked at CC when she enters the house , the shock on her face and CC clearly showing her hurt , it is great when good actors can convey all the emotions without even a single dialogue ...

Then ofcourse , the scene where CC is doing dandiya with manav and again the looks UB and CC exchange to her discussing the " sonali truth " with the whole family ...but the best scene in my opinion was when she cannot play the facade any longer and runs away from the room and the confrontation scene hence forth.

Dia , agree with you too me the dialogue of the day was when CC says " how do I forgive you " and " when you were so against me , why did you let the marriage happen " supriyaji and sanaya were awesome in the last 10 minutes or so ( was it that long a scene ...it had tremendous impact ) , the way UB was justifying her behaviour and sanaya's expressions ...were bang on .

A lot of women , especially of UB's generation do mould themselves on their MIL's especially in joint families and to them every mean is justified as long as family is together . Today for the first time saw a softer side of UB , the battles she has gone through to keep her family intact , to me this scene was more of a clash of ideologies and I hope to see more of that in tonight's episode.

Oh yeah , cannot forget to comment on sanaya's clothes ... 😆Sanaya was looking gorgeous in the red and green lehnga and yeah both UB and CC were wearing the same colour scheme , it had a nice impact when they were in the gazebo together ...
