SP: Will Ratan agree for remarriage

Will Ratan agree to the marriage?

The village headman along with the other elders tell Ratan that they would like her to marry Kartaar, as Kartaar has been divorced by his wife and is available to be remarried. Ratan too is facing the world alone, so thepanchayat sees it fit that the two of them marry each other and thus have a partner to spend life with. The panchayat feels that both of their lives will be easier if they have the support of each other. They feel it is good for the children to grow up with a father. If Ratan marries again only then can the children, Ranvijay and Veera have a father.

Kartaar becomes very happy upon hearing this. He wanted to marry Ratan for quite some time, so he does not oppose the idea. Jogindar Singh on the other hand disagrees with the panchayat. He expresses anger towards the decision. Kartaar reprimands him for disrespecting Ratan.
