Asad.
He has always had this sixth sense , this intuitive power for the ones he is attached - especially Zoe. He had given a fate forecast when he had told his mother months ago that he is going to break the heart of the woman he would love. That he will prove to be his father's son. It happened.
He saved Zoe's life a lot of times , completely by instinct and what his intuition said. Except for BCA and her emotional manipulation, Asad's sixth sense and his intuitions running into foreshadowing and almost predicting what is gonna happens have been bang-on. So, today when he tells Zoe pensively with a fear lurking in his voice - Neend khulegi aur ye khwaab toot jaayega- its not his usual pessimistic self talking. Once again, it is foreshadowing that is trying to tell Zoe that our lives as soulmates will be forever wrought in tests of fire.
Ayaan.
Badkismat wo nahiin jise mohabbat na ho.
Taqdeer usski andheron mein bhatakti hai,
Jiske haath mein mehboob ka chiraag ho, lekin wo roshan na ho.
Happens. You look for something like a madman all over the world while that precious one is right under your nose. Ayaan always had a superficial craving for a vibrant , rebellious Marks&Spencer labeled modern woman - he felt that this ideal woman would be the realization of his dreams. But deep down, he was always in love with Humzie. At that point, the problem was that he loved himself a lot more than Humzie. He was over confident of Humzie's umbrella of love and devotion. The umbrella was snatched away and he stood in the rain - water running down to his bones and washing off all that was superficial. Fate switched places of him and Humzie. Today, he is anxious, devastated , bleeding and craving for Humzie while she traverses strange waters.
Finally, Ayaan knows what it feels like to have your heart ripped out of your chest and watch it bleed... with dying hopes that it will ever recover.
