Chapter 22: Taani wants Something from Rey

The night is silent because it is already mid of the night. All the members of Singhania mansion are lost in dreaming expect one pair of cautious eye which are waiting for someone. The street dogs are barking somewhere near of the house, when Taani hears someone is unlocking the main door. She is waiting for Rey at the dinning table, for the first time in these few months. Perhaps she is eager to know about the result of her skill. She is right - Rey struggles to get into the room with the key without being unaware of the fact that someone is really waiting for him at the dinner table. He hears some sweet yet low tinkling of her bangles and anklet and feels that someone is still awake with him. He switches on the lights of the dinning room.

"Hopefully the day was fine Mr Singhania. You look tired, take a glass of water first " Taani welcomes Rey with an angelic smile on her face. Really it feels good when you know that someone is waiting for you at home. You and your wanting really does matter a lot to someone and someone welcomes you with all cordiality after a day hectic schedule.

"Why you still awake? I don't want anyone to wait for me" Rey shows his irritation. Though he feels happy inside, but somehow he is hesitant to express it.

"How come you have thought that I am waiting for you?"she asks, "I was in the mood to finish a story book by tonight and didn't check the clock for once. That romantic novel is so interesting...anyway, you won't understand!!" she let her sentence incomplete by indicating a book on her hand. Rey doesn't reply back, so it is hard to understand if this is enough reason to convince him. But, Rey doesn't argue further, so the matter sticks closes there. She goes to the microwave to heat the food once again for Rey. She knows him now so well - Why not, she was in the public administration department for the last few years, she knows to handle various person tactfully. If she would have told him that she was waiting for him only, his ego would not let him to behave normally.

Once again her hands move to serve food for him and her bangles indicate its presence. Previously, Rey didn't notice anything or you can say he loved to restrict himself. But today, his mind becomes occupied with these sweet sounds and he starts looking at her wrist. The sound is gradually mesmerized his sense. He forgets to eat his part of food for a moment.

"The meeting was good and my company has got this project." he tells the first word few moments later after gulping a large piece of chapati. He is hungry because he did not notice when it became so late for him at office. "We will reach amongst top ten brand of the world if we meet their expectation level at the given time" He seems happy while talking because he keeps smiling. Though it is so little that anyone can ignore this, but Taani's glance catch it perfectly.

"Good, congrats to you and your team!! I am happy for you."

Their dinner completes neatly on time. When she is busy with keeping the dine things on the place, he comes to her to ask something, "So, what you want from me as per our deal? You have won it". She surprises and turns back to look at his face. His eyes are fixed on her face - the happiness peeps out from it. He asks her to tell whatever she wants from him. He must be thinking that she is going to ask him some thing major and Reyaansh Singhania can afford to buy anything in this world.

"Are you ready to give me what I want?"

"I am not in a mood of joking at this moment. It's already late" he replies back while drinking a glass of water

Taani tells him finally after clearing her throat ,"Please forgive her..I mean, Forgive Vaishnabi, your Mother and start afresh."

"What!!!! "

"No. I am just..."

"Are you crazy?Do you even know what you talking about?"

"I know everything Mr Singhania. Granny has told me in Di's birthday night. She told me everything about your and Di's pain, papa's death, our bad phase of time. But trust me, Vaishnabi is suffering a lot too. She is not happy either. Forgive her, give her the last chance to redeem"

"What the hell, Taani. Don't dare to cross your limit. I don't want to discuss anything with you regarding this matter." He throws the glass in anger and it breaks into pieces lying randomly on the ground.

Taani comes and blocks his way as he is about to leave the room, "Sorry Mr Singhania, but this is my family matter too!! And I am requesting you this staying within my limit. I only want this from you, don't hate her please. Gaaltiya aakhir insaano se hi hota hai"

"But what she did with us, is not a mistake. It was a crime..it was a sin. And, I can never forgive the criminals. Galtiya ke saza hota hai, lekin gunaah ke liye koi maafi nahi hoti hai."

"God has punished her already Reyaansh. She is counting her last few days on earth. I have seen her medical reports and she is having a cancer. She wants your and Di's forgiveness, this is her last wish Reyaansh. God has punished her enough.."Taani tells in one breath. And for the first time she calls him as Reyaansh in tension, in anxiety and in emotion.

He halts for a moment, "How do you know it? Wait a second..you meet her? How could you?"
His eyes becomes red in anger or in pain or mixture of it - sometimes before, these were shinning in joy, but now these are burning in anger. The lines of his face becomes stiff and his body language becomes rigid. The news that his mother is having cancer, is a harsh fact to him, and at the same time he hurts because Taani went to meet her without letting him know.

"Shivam's company is making loss because of you, he can't even pay for her mother's treatment properly. She needs to go abroad for her check-up. She is your mom, Reyaansh, don't forget. We can't ignore that she let you womb for nine months. You are her part. If she is worst mother, then why don't you be a good son?"

"NO..Never" he screams

"I am unfortunate because God has taken my parents from me, I could not help it. But, you are keeping her away from you. Reyaansh, there are lots of orphans who can't get their parent's love for their entire life, don't let her go. She has changed, her motherhood changed her..."

"Enough..." he pushes her from his way. It is a slightly heavy push from his side as his anger reflects through it. She falls on the pieces of the glass and injures her right leg.

"Oooucchhh..."

He turns back to find what happened and finds her bleeding leg. One piece of broken glass still there into her body and causes her pain. He diverts his move and goes to bring the first aid box. On the other hand, Taani sits on the ground by holding his right leg. The pain causes her tears out from eyes and at the same time the blood also comes out from the wound continuously. One of her virtue is that no one knows when she is crying, her tears even doesn't feel to disturb others. Rey comes back and sees that Taani is sitting by holding her legs with closing her eyes in pain. Her eye brows are curved now and face shows the sign of paining. He goes to her to take her on his lap and makes her sit on the sink of the kitchen.

"I am okay. I can manage.." she tells him and moves her leg.

"Can't you just open your eyes when walking? silly girl!!" Rey holds her leg and tries to brings out the piece from the wound. She firstly hesitates, but after she holds his shoulder unknowingly, she badly needs a support now. The collar part of his shirt becomes wrinkled in effect of her pressure.

"ooouuuccchhh"

He becomes little more careful now with his treatment, but he keeps silent. His face shows the same stillness as it hardly matters to him if she is in the pain. But she feels a warmth in his touch though in pain. It feels like she is much much better now without applying any medicine. She looks at his eyes - those are still tomato red, his lips are moving. He is blabbering something because of his act so that Taani is suffering from now. She forgets about her pain. Their eyes meet for once - she forgets to take her breath and he skips one of his breath. Minutes passes without uttering any word - who knows that eyes can speak a lot when you find lack of words to express your feeling. His eyes was shameful and her eyes was merciful. She leaves him and tries to walk towards her room. He silently watches her without interrupting her, he doesn't let her know that it would not keep him well if she is not good.

She tries to move one step, but fails miserably. He holds her at the right moment, otherwise her head can collide with the wall. He takes her in his strong, masculine arm and goes for their room in the first floor. He avoids to see her face while moving and she keeps looking at her. Her soft feminine body comes so close with him, it makes her heartbeat countless, she forgets about her wound. His white shirt turned dirty with her red blood, he is still the same - with his same emotionless face.

"I will tell Dr Desai to check you up tomorrow morning. You should get an injection." He informs her after leaving her on the bed.

Few hours pass, when Taani's sleep gets interrupted suddenly. She awakes up and looks for Rey on the couch, but he is unavailable there. The application of medicine helps to reduce the pain for the time being from her leg. She searches for him and finds that Rey coming to the room.

"My friend Aashi has come from abroad to meet you as you are unwell, I told her to wait till tomorrow morning" Rey says her after giving a small pause

"No, I am fine. Please let her come here now. I want to meet her. Please" Taani insists to see his friend, someone who is really stranger to her. She never heard of her before. So, she doesn't want to let this scope go away. "I am going to meet her at that side of this room. you make her sit on that sofa"
She arranges herself and goes to the extended part of their bed room which is partitioned by a beautiful divider. Taani sees that a bold and modern girl is standing over there with her stylish look.

"Hello, I am Taani. Nice to meet you!!" Taani greets by smiling face

"Hi, I am Aashi. Hopefully, I have not disturbed you. Actually, my flight timing was so bad. I called Reyaansh and he insisted me to come." Aashi replies back. Her eyes keeps fixed now at Taani's face from her toe to bottom

"Rey is right. After all, you are his friend"

"You know what kind of relation we share!!! We are something more than Just Good Friend. Hope, Reyaansh has told you before about me" Aashi throws the blind arrow first to have a guess

"Of course" Taani sits in the chair, "Please sit down and freshen up yourself first. You traveled a long distance, so there must be a jet lag" she wants to change the topic fast

"Thanks, will do. Reyaansh goes to arrange a room in the guest house for me. I prefer to stay at there whenever I comes here. I have heard lot of things about you, so come here to meet you first. Main bhi toh dekhu tum mein aaisi kya cheez hai jo mujh mein nahi"

"Please don't compare me with yourself. You are very beautiful than me"

"You can speak well. Reyaansh ko aaise hi fasaya tha kya? But don't worry, he will never be yours. I can only understand his anger, his attitude. Two days, only two days you will run away from him. Otherwise, he will throw you out when he knows your actual intention." she tells Taani with making a gesture with her fingers.

Taani becomes surprised to hear her words. She behaves good with her like a guest, but she is constantly insulting her. "Stop..why are you talking all of these nonsense? Aur rahi baat about his anger and attitude, aap uski chinta mat kijiye, aab to adat si ho gayee hai. Now a days, I feel incomplete without these"

"Is it so? Whatever!!" she asks sarcastically, " Wahi toh main soachu, aaisa kya kyu achanak jo Reyaansh Singhania shaadi ke liye raaji ho gaya? Main World Tour mein kya chali gayee, yaha pein toh pura Ramayan rach gaya. You can really act well. I was waiting to marry him, but you come in his life with your stupid village face. Yuck!!!" she turns back, "Ohh waoo, you people have made your bed separate. Nice..only Aashi can satisfy his lust, it's not your cup of tea ...girl"

"Are you done with the meeting, Aashi? Can we move to your place?" Rey's voice suddenly interrupts their conversation. Aashi hugs Taani, "All the Best darling" and walks out with Rey for the guest room.

Taani understands everything. She clearly realizes what type of relation her husband and this girl share.But still she waves her hand in reply. She looks into his Rey's eyes - those are becoming more now expressive than rest of his face.

Pre cap - "Hey Reyaansh, so long you have not touched me. Let's be wild tonight" Aashi asks Rey after entering into the guest room.
Leap of two months - Taarey goes for shopping together.

A/N - How are you all now??How was the update? Please leave your comment and Likes behind. Sorry, I will be irregular with the updates as I am getting more and more busy. The story is moving towards the climax gradually. next update, next weekend, if possible.

1. Many asked me when they will start falling for each other. My answer is they have already fallen. Try to feel it. But when they will confess, the story will be ended there and i guess, I need max 7-10 updates more.

2. Why Taani went to meet Vaishnabi? - She wanted to hear her POV too and it felt unusual when Vaishnabi came to meet Rinni in her birthday. So, she wanted to know the reason and as she know Shivam beforehand, it was easy for her.

Hi! Again an awesome update , rey is feeling taani , with the voice of bangels is romantic .doing her first aid , his concern for her is loving, I want to know rey, s answer to ashi when she will say him to spend night with her.I know now he is taanis, so ashi will face big no.taani loves rey now n I m in love with her that feel.as I told u I will tell u about ur update when post that so, as per promise I m here but but want yr next update soon , as u said u r busy , we understand but canthelp yr story makes us impatient so , plz try to update soon , nw it has become a daily thing to cheque weather u update or not , SO STAY FIT DO LOT OF WORK N UPDATE FAST AS USUAL , WILL MEET U AFTER UR UPDATE , BYE FRD.
