Marathe is asking for 20 crore rupees in exchange of letting RK off is obviously a trap either by Marathe or Sultan ( who in all likelihood might not be dead). There is no way Marathe wants to let RK free and he seemed to be someone more interested in getting him punished than money, so him asking for bribe doesnt make sense. Marathe is just playing on Madhu's guilt and weakness that is RK. She in someway feels herself responsible for RK killing Sultan and would go to any length to save him even if it means breaking her principles and resorting to bribing. And Marathe might use this against RK.
They can go about this different ways, either Sultan has set Marathe up for RK and using this proof of bribing he will blackmail Madhu that the only way RK would be free is if she leaves RK
If Sultan isbactually dead then this is Marathe's plan alone to further taint RK and prove that he is guilty and hence bribing him
and last but not the least, I wouldnt even.be speculating this had the spoiler for heroine track not been out, Madhu might join movies for 20 crores (lamest of the lot but wont put the lameness past the CVs)
