Alright, so I've been in this forum for quite a while now... Have been through thick and thin... and am still here. The reasons have been, well many. I will forever cherish the sweet memories of SG (IP) prior to the changed actor to play Shiv's character... From that point of change is where things started to go downhill. Nonetheless I am here... Why? For the following characters:
Gauri (Pallavi): As much as her love may seem almost unreal, her depiction of the character and the emotions attatched is beautiful. I love Pallavi. One of the best Tele actresses to show on the screen I must say. She is very convincing in her portrayal and she is also very beautiful.
If Gauri can love so selflessly, I wonder about her reactions when the SI "love" reveals itself. Gauri has from a little while now, shown that no one means more to her than her husband and it will take a great deal of convincing to break her faith... But once it shatters, will she just fall to the ground in a heap of loss or will she stand up and try to gather the remants of her lifeless life and build upon it once more?
Nikhila (Achint): Ok, out of the other supporting characters, I like Nikhila's best. Achint is simply gorgeous and a talented actor. Her depictions are ever so real and bring the character to life. The best part of it I think, is that is grey. Grey characters tend to reflect reality in a more realistic form if that makes any sense. She is selfish, but her selfishness is justified by her motherly instincts.
Hatching a plan so risky for the sake of their child is not everyone's piece of cake... But they do say that a mother can go to any extent for her child's smile. Nikhila seems to have done justice to this concept. Right now, she is going through a very bad phase with blakmailers haunting her lef-right and centre. It would be interesting to see her reactions if calamity (for her) strikes and unexpected (for her), takes form of the expected. What will she do if, lets say Ipshi dies like so many have purposed? The risks she had taken would all mix with dirt... Would she be able to face the acusing eyes? Or even her son's pathetically sorrowed state?
Mahen (Salil): Ok... I've said it so many times before, but this man is just... so yummy!!đłđ Sorry guys, I couldn't help it!! He is gorgeous... I just love it when he shows up on the screenđł Ok, enough of my blabbering... Salil has been doing an awesome job of playing a character with the many shades. From the land incident, to the revelation that he indeed had not a clue about Nikhila's plans. His business like manner, yet undue concern for his family are realisitc enough.
From so long, Mahen has sealed his mouth in faithful honesty to preserve his wife's "honour", which has nonetheless disintegrated slowly anyways. I admire his restraint in that despite not having a clue to the antics of his wife, he has no said word in defense of himself. A man of dignity he is. His fatherly instincts for Gauri are genuine and it appears as though come what may, he will stand next to his daughter. He has suffered the loss of a deep friendship, but losing Gauri, whom he has loved more than Palak, would seem to be too much to endure. Seeing his reaction to Daksh's stupidity, I think Shiv should find another roof soon... It is going to be yet another treat to see how this father torn between his blood-related son, and adopted daughter-in-law stands firm to his values...
Vivan (Real name?): Ok, here I go again... Vivan is for me, eye candy... Really yummy at that!!đł Haha, he is so adorable and the person playing the character is great at portraying the boy with a slight attitude, but one who cherishes relationships from the depths of his heart.
So long it has been... Yet, Vivan has yet to reveal his heart's desire to Kaya. I think she too, feels the same for him... Somewhere, maybe yet to realize, but the thought of her sister... The betrayals suffered... and the "status" confinement will hinder her expression. Vivan has suffered much as a child... His faith in his father has been lost and recovery seems impossible. From the looks of it, Daksh is all ready to step back into Kapoor house, what will his son's reactions be like?
Anupam (Hiten): ... You know what I love about him? Well actually, I could start a list... his spellbindng poetic andaaz... the sparkling smile... the genuine expressions... the purity of his heart. đłOk, I'll stop. Hiten is doing a fabulous job, no doubt. I don't think any other actor could do such justice to the character. I love his background score!! He is perfectly like Sharukh...
Anupam has always savoured a positive outlook on life. Be it anything. His advice to a mere stranger on the tribulations of life, and his patience with his love is ever evident of this. He has no real biological family (except for his tayee I think), as has been shown and found relationships within the Kapoors... The only one whom he has waited for, and yet waits on, is his beloved Ipshita. Little does he know, the one whom he utters every breath for, has already prepared his death sentence. What will his reactions be like once he finds out? The earth will shake, but will he fall beneath the layers... Or fight back?
Ok, well this is my take. I don't know if it made much sense, but I'm hoping it serves has an inspiration to keep you guys here, as without you guys, what am I to do here? What is an ocean without waves??
Cheers,
dc
PS... Btw, I haven't mentioned them as neither is terribly appealing to me at the moment (well Ipshit never was), but I think once the "truth" spills, they too will suffer a shock... The volcano will errupt, but even they will not be spared from the burning lava...
