Chapter 2
Next day early morning, Asad came to breakfast table. Everything was ready. But it surprised him to see 4 plates on table rather then 3..!!
Asad: Ammi, koi guest hai kya??
Dilshad (remebring): Oh Asad..Mein batana hi bhul gayi.. Kal hum shopping keliye gaye the right??
Asad: Ha ammi..
Najma was full excited to tell to him. So before Dilshad continued..
Najma: Tho bhaijan waha pe hume paying guest mili.. who abhi upar rehrahi hai!!!
Asad full confused..
Asad: Aapko mall mein paying guest mili?? Mall main yeh sab bhi bikhtahai??!!
Dilshad (laughing): Are baba no.. Najma.. thk se bolo.. warna tere buddu bhaijan ko patah nehi chalega.. Beta hum waha ek ladki se mile.. bahut achi hai.. bechari ko rehne keliye jagah nehi thi.. isiliye hum leyaye..
Asad (still confused):ladki mili aur aap leyaye??!! Kay ammi.. Aapko patha hia aise kisike ke upar vishwas nehi karsake.. na jaan na pahchaan..kuch hogaya tho??!!
Dilshad: Kuch nehi hoga.. who bahut achi hai..!! newyork se ayi hai.. 32-3 mahine rehna keliye.. kahrahi thi kpoi important kaam hai..!!\
Asad: Newyork se??!! Ammi.. aapko koi aur ladki nehi mili.. muje tho acha nehi lagraha hai..!!
D: Are beta tum itna pareshaan kyu ho.. sab thk hai..!! Najma.. Zoya ko bulao..
Najma went and came back with worry..
Najma: Ammi.. Zoya ko bhukaar hai.. woh kehrahi thi use kuch nehi chahiya khanekeliye..woh neeche nehi aasakthi..
Dilshad (worriedly): Ya allah.. ye kya hua.. ek kaam karo najma.. tum Zoya ko khana uske kamrein mein leke jao.. mein khada banake lati hun..
Asad was shocked seeing his family's reaction. It felt like one of his family member was ill.. Dilshad left everything and went to make khada.. She then came out and told Asad
Dilshad: Asad.. tum khana shuru karo.. mein baad mein karthi hun.. pehle mein use yeh khada deke aati hun..
Asad: Ammi.. chahiye tho doctor ko bulaiye.. itna tension kyu lerahi hai!!?
Dilshad: Kyu nehi tension loongi?? Aagr tumhe ya Najma ko kuch hua tho?? Who hamare sath rehrahi hai Asad.. humko khyal rakhna chahiye uski.. ya allah.. muje uske kamrein mein jana hai..
She told so much and went. Asad started eating as he had to go to office soon. He thought that he will check on her in night.
By noon Zoya was fine.. her temperature had dropped down and she was able walk. She felt bad that on first day only she made them to do so much. So she decided that she will help Dilshad rest of the day..
Even though Dilshad did not allow her she managed to cook dal for night. It was almost time to do namaz..Dilshad told that they carry on as Asad will join them soon..
They all were praying when Asad entered. His eyes was stuck only one person..he saw her again..same way..praying.. but the only difference is she was at his place!!!! He could see how adorable she looked, simple, beautiful..!! He was more than happy, surprised, shocked!!! He had no time to react as his Ammi finished her prayer..
Dilshad: Asad beta.. tum agaye??
Asad was in no position to answer also.. he just smiled and again looked at Zoya..Dilshad followed his gaze and understood what he was meaning..
Dilshad: She is Zoya Asad.. she is the one who I brought as Paying guest..
By then Zoya and Najma too finished their prayers. Zoya saw Dilshad speaking to and he staring at her..!! Zoya came to Dilshad..
Dilshad: Zoya.. yeh hai mera beta.. Asad..!!!
Zoya (smiling): Hi..mera naam hai Zoya..
Asad brought all his senses back so that he could speak..
Asad: Hi..
Only he could tell. He told and left to his room to get freshen up..he really needed that.. he did not know what was happening..he was processing what he saw out there..!! she was here..the girl whom he had seen, the one with sad eyes..!! He went to have shower which was really needed for him..
They had a quite dinner and after that they all went back to their rooms.. Zoya was thinking about Asad all long wondering what was wrong with him. She observed that he was seeing her all time, but she had to admit that he was handsome hunk!!! Here Asad could not stop thinking of her..he was remembering her how she was staring at him dinner table.. it was difficult for him as she will be staying here for a long time. Just then he realized that he was thinking of her too much.. He cnt let her effect him so much!!! He should control.. he cant loose for her like that..!!
Next day morning all were eating in table and Zoya said..
Z: Phupi..!! muje Pizza khana hai!!!
\Asad looked at her shocked..was she asking for Pizza in this oddly time that too for early morning break fast??!!
Dilsha (smiling): Oh Zoya..!! aaj rath mein banayenge..
Zoya: thanks phupi.. waise poore 2 din hogaye muje Pizza khaye hue..I'm so impressed!! I thought I couldn't control myself!!!
Asad (sarcastically): Oh yes!!! 2 days is really a long time Ms. Farookhi..!! Aap wakai hi bahut great hai!!
All laughed..
Zoya (irritated): Mr. Khan.. Aapko patha hai mein rooz pizza khati hun..!!! so 2 days is a big deal.. dnt be sarcastic!!
Asad: Ms. Farookhi.. Sarcastic nehi.. telling the truth..!!! dnt be irritated..
She glared at him angrily..
Dilshad: Asad stop it..!! dnt irritate her..
Najma: Waise Zoya.. Aap ki fav pizza kaunsa hai??!!
Zoya (full excited): Oh..!! muje sab acha lagtha hai!!! But I have one wish.. I want to eat authentic Pizza from the Land of Pizza- Italy!!!
Najma: Oh…!!! Acha dream hai.. hope it will come true soon..!!!
Zoya (wishing): Hope so..
All long Asad was watching her expression and was lost in her.. the way her dimples used to form when she smile..!! he just felt so pleased!!! He did not realize when he knocked down the water glass next to him and spill it all over.. All turned to him to the sound..he looked at the table and couldn't believe at what he did in the rush of looking her..
Najma (hurriedly): bhaijan.. mein abhi saaf karti hun..
By then dilshad ran and brought tissues to clean the table.. both cleaned it ASAP ans Asad was making sure it was cleaned properly.. there was a smell drop left which he showed to Najma.. She cleaned it tehn..
Zoya was totally amused and shocked by what she saw.. She thought that this person really has OCD..he is a clean freak!! She decided that next time he pisses me off she will not let him go that easy!! But she could not stop herself..
Zoya: Allah miyya..!!! Aap tho clean freak hai Mr. Khan!!!
Najma and Dilshad both laughed at her remark..!! Stared at her..
Asad: AIsa kuch nehi.. muje bas sab kuch saaf hone chahiye!!
Zoya : Ha.. par normal logonki tarah nehi.. kuch zyada hi saaf chahiye!!! Phupi agar Mr. Khan kitchen mein khana banana jayenge tho kya hoga sochiye..?? yeh khana banana se pehle clean karna shurukardein te hai..!! oh god!!
Najma couldn't stop herself.. She laughed loudly not even caring her bhaijan's glare.. the eating time went like this only with laughter and joy.. first time Dilshad felt that her house was alive.. she liked it..
Then Asad left to office..Zoya left to her room to get ready as she wanted to go to photo studio!!!
Dilshad and Najma were sitting in the living room and discussing..
Dilshad: Zoya kitni achi ladki hai na??!!
Najma: Ha ammi.. muje woh bahut pasand hai.. kitni lively ladki hai woh..!!
Dilshad: Ha.. aur mann ki bhi saaf hai.. joh bhi hai boldeti hai..woh ghar pe hai toh ghar hasi se khil utthi hai.!
Najma:Ha ammi..
Dilshad thought that she should find out more about this girl.. like her family, living and all.. Dilshad had some long term idea in her mind and she knew she has to work hard for that!!
Zoya was in the photo studio showing the person the old photos she had..
Zoya: Aap muje yeh photos ko phirse develop karke denge??
Shop person: Ha madam.. ho saktha hai.. lekin yeh kafi purani lagthi hai..
Zoya: Ha.. muje yeh sab clearly chahiye.. specially sabke chehre..
SP: clear hona mushkil hai ma'm.. par mein try karunga..Aapko kitna copies chahiye??
Zoya: Aap jitna hosake utna clear kijiye.. please.. muje yeh photo bahut zaruri hai!! Muje filhaal 5 copies chahiye.. aap jitna time chahiye utna lijiye.. par muje zyada se zyada clear chahiye..
SP: thk hai.. will give in one week..
Zoya: thanks..
She gave him her cell number and advance money and left.. she came back by noon and saw that Dilshad and Najma were busy discussing the arrangements for Ramzan..this Dilshad wanted it to be a family function. So she decided not to call anyone..even Zoya joined them.. then they all went to rest till evening..
All the arrangements were done and they were praying.. Zoya prayed that she should succeed in this mission so that she could go ASAP. Asad had maintained silence in the dinnaer time. He was simply observing Zoya and this did not go unnoticed by Dilshad.. she smiled and let it go..
After dinner all went back to their respective rooms. Zoya was feeling very lonely today.. she went to garden outside and sat on the bench.. she was thinking of her mother and why her father left her like that without reason that too in her young age.. She had tears in her eyes. Just then Dilshad came there with a cup of hot coffee.. she gave it to Zoya and sat beside her.
Dilshad: Raat mein aise baitke coffee peene ka maza hi kuch aur hai!!!
Zoya simply smiled looking at her..
Dilshad: tum in tarron se kya baath karahi thi??!!
Zoya: Phupi.. mere aapi humesha mujse kehte the ki job hi insaan humein chodke jaatein hai woh aksar taarein ban jathein hai!!! Isiliye jab bhi muje ammi se baath karneka men kartha hai tho mein taaron se baath karthi hu.. shayad woh meri baath sunle!!
Dilshad looked towards Zoya.. he eyes was filled with unshed tears..
Dilshad: tumhare aapi ne sach kaha hai..!!! aur woh zaroor tumhare baath sunenge.. unki bati jo ho..!!!
Zoya started crying and she hugged Dilshad.. Dilshad really felt bad for this girl.. she did not want her to ask her about that.. she decided that she will only slowly make her to tell every thing.. she knew that there was so much more than what this girl is telling her..
Asad was standing near the entrance way of garden and saw the scene in front of him.. his ammi hugging Zoya and consoling her.. she was crying and he felt bed for that. He also felt jealous of his Ammi as she could hug Zoya and not him.. He had the habit of sitting in the bench and having coffee with his Ammi.. but today that place was taken by Zoya and for a change he was not angry for that.. he left from there and went to sleep..
Precap: Zoya: Mr khan..!! aap aise nehi kehsakthe..!! muje chahiye..
Asad: Nehi Ms. Farookhi.. aap nehi jasakthe..
Zoya: Yes.. I will go..
Asad: No..
Zoya: Yes..
Both Dilshad and Najma were laughing looking at the scene in front of them..
