I don't think RK's character was ever butchered..y'day too he was not hiding behind madhu bt was giving her a chance to have her own way wid bhai n as soon as bhai was back wid gun RK pulled her aside n was back in action..also it was more of a damage control by cvs for those soft looks n handlocks which disgusted all d viewers n confused dem regarding madhu..dis proclamation by madhu infront of both RK n sultan dat she will always belong to RK was much needed..remember her dialogue ki RK rhe na rhe pr madhu hamesha RK ki rahegi..

n about RK falling in trap toh its quite natural at d moment becoz he is so vulnerable n broken ri8 now..he is also human after all n he hugged madhu in d last scene becoz he was shocked..he is a superstar not a killer..it wud have been so unreal if he wud have remained calm n normal..VD nailed dat scene.!

RK stood back and let Madhu speak to Sultan, so joru ka gulam 😆 just joking, I actually thought for once RK was secure in his relationship with Madhu that he didn't mind her speaking to Sultan because he knew from the night before their discussions that she would not take Sultan's side.
