Women and Respect

HI. I dont visit this forum but i do watch KS once in a while. I was watching the USA epi yesterday and a thought occured to me.

Like when that Auntie or Bua begged Bani to stay, she was saying oh dont forget your values, your ethics and traditions.

Okay, so A woman has to repsect traditions--okay

A woman has to respect values- okay

A woman has to respect her elder- okay

What about the damn woman herself???? Before all of this, before the values, ethics, traditions, and others...and woman or any human, has to respect themselves. I dont know whats happening in the India episodes, im just talking for the USA epi. Bani was livng in a house that belongs to her husband that cheated on her. I know, Jai didnt mean it like that and I really do like Jai. But the bottom line is, right now Jai did sleep with Pia right? He did cheat on Bani (or did i miss somehitng). So...bcuz of Bani's so-called traditions and all she going to stay in that house? Thats disrespecting herself. I think as a woman that Bua lady shouldnt have made Bani stay using emotional blackmail.

PS- Yo....if I was Rano, I would have punched Pia in the face during the garden confrontation.

I think they tried to show that she was in such emotional shambles that it might be dangerous for her to be on her own, maybe she was afraid Bani would kill herself and she is aware that Bani has no one else to call family to whom she could turn. I guess she extrapolated her feelings for Krishna Walia to Bani. Just as she took care of her sister, she wanted to care for Bani knowing full well that Jai had wronged her. Maybe to pacifiy herself she did what she did.

Eventually, know that Bani is no longer a zombie she made her own decision and has walked out. She isn't remotely interested in anything connected to the Walias at the moment.

Me too. I was wondering why she didn't. Earlier she had even slapped Pia. But what to do, nothing works on Pia.😡
