New Arvi FF: Chapter 2: Pg.3

Hey guys! This is an FF over our beloved ArVi. I was gonna do one based on recent times but I decided against it. I have decided to put a spin on the way they were seperated. So this is basically how they reunite and their life after . Which I am gonna make sure happens way sooner than it did in the show. I hope you guys like it.

I haven't decided on a title yet, so if you guys ah e my suggestions after reading it, please do tell me! And I am open to criticism

Prologue:
It has been 3 weeks since Purvi made Arjun marry Ovi. Archu got her family back, due to Teju.
Arjun and Purvi are still broken from the past events. They can't help but think about each other. And Ovi, as obvious, is being the total brat that she is, and is also being completely oblivious to Arjun's pain. She still thinks that Arjun loves her and only her.
Archu can't help but notice Purvi, and Arjun. Their pain, their suffering, their longing, their love. She thinks that Purvi didn't do the right thing by getting Arjun and Ovi married. She kind of blames herself for all the troubles Arjun and Purvi are facing.
Archu talks to Purvi, who is depressed and heart broken. She has barely had anything to eat in the past weeks. She just stays in her room, staring at the picture of her and Arjun at their engagement. She cries herself to bed every night. And still wears the ring that Arjun put in the ring finger of her left hand, looking at it makes her feel guilty and happy at the same time. She feels guilty because she wasn't able to fulfill all the promises that she had made to Arjun. And happy, because she feels that even though it wasn't enough, she was still called Arjun's for a period of time.
Arjun, on the other hand, has surrounded himself in his work. He tries to work, to the best of his abilities, but everything about his office just screams PURVI to him. He can feel her presence in the smallest thing in his work place. He wants to hate her for throwing him in this marriage, that not only him and Purvi know but also the whole family knows, isn't gonna work out, no matter how hard Ovi and Arjun try. But the more he tries to hate her, his heart betrays him, and he ends up loving Purvi more and more.
Ovi is trying her best to make this marriage work, but Arjun isn't cooperating. He comes home late at night, and doesn't eat anything. He just walks upto his room, closes the door and stays in there till 8 in the morning. After which he leaves for work without having breakfast. Ovi is basically on the verge of giving up, but she has faith in her love(infatuation).

Now... Back up to speed...
Savita is praying her heart out to Ganpati Bappa to save Ovi's marriage and that Ovi proves her love to Arjun and truly accepts her and they live happily ever after. For that, she asks Ovi to go to the Ganesh Temple on the outskirts of Mumbai with Arjun. Arjun is reluctant to go, but he then agrees because, it was the only thing he could do to prove to Purvi that HE WILL TRY.
But destiny had its own game in mind and unfortunately, Archana decided to go with the unhappily married couple, and also made Purvi come along too. She said that it would get Purvi some fresh air, and she would be able to pray for Purvi. Purvi didn't wanna go, because of Ovi, and Arjun upto a certain extent, because then she would have to bear his hate which would be as good as taking poison. But she really wanted to see Arjun, she hadn't seen him in 3 weeks, her eyes were yearning for him.

On the trip to the Mandir, Arjun drove the car. But he wasn't feeling too good, because of not eating well enough. So, Ovi being the nice wife that she was, told him that she would drive.
So, now it was Ovi on the driver's seat, Arjun next to her, and Archu and Purvi in the back. During the whole car ride, Arjun and Purvi's eyes kept meeting each other in the front mirror. Ovi was noticing this but didn't say anything. But one could see the anger forming in her eyes. Soon, the mandir came, everyone got off to pray to Bappa. Ovi was still angry at the fact that Arjun has feelings for Purvi. She walked to a shop, and got herself some alcohol, unknown to everyone.
On the car ride back, Ovi volunteered herself to drive, since Arjun was tired. Nobody noticed that she had been having alcohol.
About 20 miles into the ride home, the car started swaying in motions. Arjun told Ovi to drive properly, to which she replied in her drunk voice, leaving everyone shocked. Arjun tried to convince her to stop driving, but in her rage, she drove the car straight into a tree!

Chapter 1

The ambulance sirens blared as Ovi, Arjun, Purvi, and Archana were taken to the City Hospital.
Manav had received a call saying that there had been an accident, and that the passengers were critically injured, and they were his family members. Manav left everything at hand and rushed to the hospital.

At the hospital
Manav: Nurse, I had received a call dating that there had been an accident involving my family members.
Nurse: Yes, Officer Rane will inform you of the details*Pointing at an officer*
Manav rushes to him
Manav: Inspector, I am Manav Deshmukh, I was informed of a car accident.
Rane: Yes, sir. You see, close to the Mumbai highway, we had found a car badly crashed. We looked inside and there was a young man, two Young women, and a mid-aged lady, badly injured. We bought them here for medical care, and looked through the bags to find their IDs. Which held the names: Ovi Deshmukh, Purvi Deshmukh, Archana Deshmukh, and Arjun Kirloskar. And their phone history told us that you were the last person Archana Deshmukh had called so we called you
Manav: How are they? Are they ok?
Rane: Archana Deshmukh and Arjun Kirloskar suffered minor head injuries. Purvi Deshmukh suffered major head trauma, and Ovi Deshmukh... Ovi Deshmukh...
Manav: What happened to Ovi?!?!
Rane: I am sorry Mr. Deshmukh, but Ovi Deshmukh was bleeding profusely when we found her. And by the time we had got her here, she had lost nearly half of all her blood. She also suffered major head trauma. The doctors operated her, but to no avail of stopping the blood from flowing out of her. She lost her life to excessive blood loss, and died half an hour ago. She is no more. I am sorry, Mr. Deshmukh.
Manav couldn't believe his ears. He was in shock! He started walking backwards, shaking his head, only to bump into his family, whose eyes were filled with tears. They couldn't bear the loss of their daughter. They cried and cried until, the doctor came out to tell them that Archana had regained consciousness. Manav rushed to her and broke the heart breaking news to her. She cried beyond limit.
The next day, Arjun regained consciousness and discovered the earth shattering news of the death of his best friend. He couldn't control himself. After a couple of hours, there was Ovi's funeral and final rites, performed by Manav.
The next day, the doctor gave them another bad news, Purvi had slipped into coma. Archana couldn't bear it. She walked to the mandir to ask for her daughter's well being as he had already taken one of her daughters away from her forever.
Arjun was sad beyond belief. He had a hard time coping up with the fact that his best friend had left him forever. And now the Love of his life was battling death. He vowed that he would not eat or drink anything until his Purvi regained consciousness.

I know that I kinda went too fast, and summarised too, but I just wanna get to Arjun and Purvi ASAP. Hope you understand.
