Aaditya aka Nakuul Mehta ofPyaar Ka Dard Hai had a narrow escape, not once but twice within a week! A couple of days ago, he was shooting a fire sequence, where-in he was supposed to save his love Pankhuri from the blaze. However, things went horribly wrong and he himself got badly singed by the flames.
Recalls Nakuul, "There were firefighters and trainers on the sets while shooting the sequence at Madh Island fort. I was to make my way inside the temple with the fire blowing in my face. We had timed the shot. The guy put the fire out first.
However, before I could walk through, he started the cylinder again and the fire was on my face. Luckily, I put out my left arm to save my face, but my hair and lashes got burnt." Interestingly, Nakuul had asked the director just before the shot if it would be safe to go ahead with the scene! "I had an intuition that it would go wrong," says Nakuul who had to wait for an hour for the doctor to arrive and look at him.
Later, when he was shooting a sangeet sequence, his adventurous streak came to the fore again. "I thought I will make an entry like Tarzan swinging from a rope.
While the rehearsal went fine, during the take the rope snapped! Fortunately I got away with a hamstring injury. Now, I am wary and have decided no more adventure," says Nakuul.
