Part 12 B

Am back :D with the next update and again late :( VERY LATE! But!... in this Chap I've tried to put in a little bit more of the gang as requested by a few' but the thing is the gang aren't a major part of my story and I just use them to connect situations, nothing else' so I'm sorry if u wanted more of the Gang, as I'm unable to do so :( do tell me in your comments what u think about this :) thank u'

Here's the update:

In the pitch black night, the stars and moon were no longer visible... instead they were hidden away from sight as the black clouds over head crept across the sky illuminating any sign of light... the heavy clouds collided with each other causing violent pouring down of rain along with it carrying heavy thunder visible in the distance... as the heavy rain poured down the tress were burdened, being pushed down and swayed around as the rains direction changed violently' nothing could be heard or seen through this storm' there was the sound of bolting lightning, tree's swaying, the wind picking up carrying leaves and dust with it as it swirled them around in irregular circles and the street lights flickered as the heart of the storm approached'

Taani walked out of the college and into this wild storm' her tears falling down only to be fused together with the rain drops on her pale face as she remembered the day's events... Her eyeliner dripping from her eyes, leaving black smudges... Her silky brown hair flew as she exited the gates of St. Louis' the wind grew stronger carrying with itself dust and leaves which flew onto her and into her eyes making them burn... Her salwaar kameez stuck to her body, perfectly outlining her body's curves... She was shivering as she walked bare foot on the main road; luckily no cars were insight because of the terrible weather... As a shattered Taani reached a forested one way road, occasionally twigs and pricks would come under her feet damaging them, causing severe pain and mild bleeding but it didn't affect her... No more than a mere flinch could be seen on her face... she kept walking not having any intention of getting anywhere' she wanted to walk' actually run away from the truth' the harsh truth of being alone! That now not even her friends were there' they pretended! To not know how special this day was for her' Taani harshly and tightly closed her eyes not wanting their thoughts to be in her mind' she wanted to free herself of this misery! Stopping and slowly opening her eyes, taani looked up as the rain fell into her eyes but she kept them open, feeling connected to her mother' she had poured her mother's ashes into the ganga river' and every time it would rain she would stand outside, trying to feel her mother's presence in the water' spreading out her arms she stood there for a while, finally deciding to go and meet her mom at the ganga river'

Rey was driving madly down the road; double the speed which was permitted... The heavy rain falling down on his windscreen, was limiting his vision of the road and what lay ahead... But that didn't stop him... Instead the harsh weather supported the anger burning inside him... He remembered the occurrences in the RH' how could he have told them?! Why did it affect him so much what they thought?!' What Taani thought? He closed his eyes slowly taking in a deep breath as he harshly pushed the breaks on the car, jolting him and the car forward in an abrupt stop' as his body roughly hit back on his seat he looked outside' The loud thunder in the background carried the same essence as the one 2 years ago' its volume never changing' the same sharp bolt of lightning could be seen, as if god was purposefully reminding him of that day' he opened the car's door, stepping outside into the storm and feeling relaxed as the cool drops of rain fell onto his burning body, cooling and soothing the anger burning within him' He walked to the bonnet of the car and slid down onto the ground, sitting against it as he cried out in sheer pain remembering his mother'

R: MAA!! (grabbing onto his hair and pulling it harshly) kyun chali gayi ap maa' (weeping) bilkul akela ho gaya hoon mein' (crying badly) please vapis aa jao na maa' I can't live without u!! ur baby boy can't live with u maa' he needs u' please come back! Please'

He closed his eyes as he leaned his head back on the car' tears flowing down from his eyes as the rain harshly fell on him, hurting him' but not more than the pain he felt in his heart' knowing that even Taani had lost her mom' more over her parents' but he couldn't support her' all because of that swayam! His teeth clattered together as his jaw tightened in anger'

Taani walked weakly towards the ganga river' her legs wobbled but somehow she managed to find the strength to walk' maybe she felt stronger knowing that Rey understood her' that she had someone who she could lean on and weep' par Swayam ruied everything! The gang ruined everything!! How could they do this Rey?!

Taarey's mind raced back to the RH'

*Flashback*

Rey's words were left unsaid as he was forced back with a heavy weight against his chest... His heart beats increased as he felt Taani's arms tighten around his neck pulling him into a warm embrace... Rey's heart was ready to pound out of his chest when Taani tucked herself tightly within him, her face digging into his neck... as her silky hair flew onto his face, the milky coconut smell in them intoxicated him' its smell travelled into his lungs where his blood carried it into his brain causing it to blur everything out of sight' he closed his eyes, unable to see anything except her, inhaling her smell and feeling her touch he hesitantly placed his hands on her back... slowly wrapping them around her... He could feel her warmness sending a shiver down his body... and he didn't know why... But it felt just so right to be there in that moment... To be holding Taani in his arms... As if this is where he belongs... As if this was his final destination...

But Taani started crying again, bringing Rey out of his daze... there was intensity and pain visible in her hearts unbearable cry and the hot tears that escaped her eyes, burning through Rey's shirt onto his skin... Rey tightened his hands around her as she moved in closer to him, snugging into his embrace' But there was an unfamiliar chill wandering in the depths of the RH, carrying darkness and mysteries of the past within itself... But it went unnoticed by Taani and Rey... Through the coldness filled in the atmosphere... They found warmth, wrapped in each other's embrace...

Meanwhile with the Gang-

The whole gang had spilt up in search of Taani... they were running around the whole college: up and down stairs, through corridors, peeking into classroom's, down into the fire exit... Every possible place where Taani could be... But all their attempts to find her failed and a rather upset gang met in the hall way, exhausted from all the running...

Everyone was lost in their own thoughts of guilt and regret... Upset at the fact that they didn't support Taani when she needed their love and care the most... This day was so very special for her... How could they have ignored it?! Was this what Taani deserved in return of everything she did for them?? The return of her constant showering of love on them?? No she didn't... she didn't deserve this... They weren't capable of her and her friendship, but they had to make up for their mistake... Because they couldn't lose her... They had to show her that they really do care for her... That she means a lot for them... But how?! They can't find her anywhere...

N: (scared and in deep thought) Guys... Neha thinking... Taani gone home toh??

Aa: (upset) toh humari saari mehnat kharab types ho jayegi!

The whole gang falling silent and upset... Swayam spoke next, trying to remove the tension from everyone's mind...

Sw: heyy heyy guys! Aisa kuch nahi hai! Taani bina baataye jaa hi nahi sakti... Hum usse yeh surprise deke zaroor mana lenge... we won't let her stand alone on this day... (Smiling widely) We'll all be here for her... Forever and Always...

But these words weren't enough to cheer up a gloomy D3 gang... Because at the moment they had nothing... Neither Dil, Dosti or Dance... They had hurt Taani at Heart, broken her trust on them, Putting their Friendship in trouble... they were afraid to lose her... Afraid of whether or not she will accept them as her friends after this?? And Dance?? What was Dance without Taani?? Without their complete gang?

An irritated Simmi: Wat yaar swayam?! Humne pora college check kar liya! Kahi nahi hai woh... Mujhe toh lagta hai ki woh hum seh naraz (angry) hoke chali gayii... (On the verge of crying) We've lost her forever guys... Chali gayii hai woh... (sad) She's gone...

But Sharon was in another world... Not listening to what Simmi was saying... But instead she had figured out where Taani was... She knew her well... And she knew that right now, there is no better place to find Taani then in the RH... Where she always goes to release her anger and re-mend her broken heart...

Sh: (smirking) unless we've missed a place. (smiling mischievously)

Listening to Sharon's sudden statement the whole gang was confused... they looked at each other trying to figure out what she was saying'

Sh: Guys... (Looking at them enthusiastically) kissi ne RH check kiya??! (Smiling widely)

Everyone looked up at each other... soon their faces lit up... And they all screamed in union

Gang: THE RH!! (Smiling widely)

And ran towards the RH...

RH-

Rey loosened his grip from around Taani, placing his hands on her shoulders, he gently separated her from him. Taani looked up gazing into Rey's deep chocolate brown eyes which reflected so much love and care for her, that it was visible in the blurry picture she was seeing of him through the crystal clear liquid formed in her eyes... It touched her heart how much he cared and supported her, even more than her so called "friends"... The gangs behaviour tore her heart apart... as if the pain of losing her parents wasn't enough... why did Krishna ji always do this to her?? Why was it always her having to give sacrifices for others?... having to hide her emotions?... She looked up beckoning towards god to her an answer to her questions' Her tears began to form again as her heart sunk in sadness...

Looking at Taani's dull and swollen face Rey felt a strange stabbing pain in his heart as if someone had just ripped his world apart, wrenching his soul out of his body... His heart bled in pain as he closely observed her face... It was swollen and dull and her eyes that used to sparkle in joy now reflected no emotion except pain and remorse, being filled only with tears... Every bit of energy had been drenched out of her body' she looked lifeless' as if someone had caged her soul, not letting it free until every piece of her heart was broken... It hurt so damn much to see her like this! In this state, where she was nor alive nor dead...

Rey's expressions were constantly changing as he didn't know what to feel... whether he should be upset, worried, Or furious? And this confusion took the form of anger, slowly taking over his mind and heart' he had never felt so lost and helpless... it seemed as if Taani had no heart or soul left in her lifeless body... And there was nothing he could do about it!

Rey banged his fist on the cold stone floor as he got up in frustration, turning away from a scared and stunned Taani, he closed his eyes as he took in a deep breath thinking about her' He knew Taani had a heart... In fact a very big one, which could carry so much pain yet still love others with every broken piece of itself... there was a huge difference between this taani and the happy and cheerful taani he knew' all that was going through his head right now was that he had to help her! He didn't know why but he just had to! ' This was the very first time his heart and mind both agreed on something... His heart wanted to see her happy and smiling with that cute twinkle in her eyes and his mind wanted to know the reason as to why she was like this?... Who had she lost? Why is she hurting herself? Was it her fault? All the questions running through his mind were giving him an unbearable headache... But there was only one way to make this headache go away... And that was by getting the answers for his questions... He had to find out... But first, he had to become her friend... Someone she could rely on... someone she could tell her hearts pain to...

Gang-

The gang ran to the RH excited to make it up to Taani' when the door of the RH was in view, they all sprinted towards it wanting to get in first' but instead they got stuck trying to get in at the same time' the boys starting shoving each other trying to get through'

Sw: (pushing Vicky in Nil) Haat yaar who meri BFF hai! Phele mein jaaonga!

Sh: (shoving swayam from behind) Oh really?!! Tumse phele who meri BFF hai! I met her first!! (Shoving harder)

Sw: (turning around with an I'm better than u face) well' (moving his face up to hers) she loves me more! (turning back around with a victory face)

Sh: (in her mind) isse lardne seh kya fayada' phele andar toh pohoch jaye' (clicking her fingers happily as an idea started to form in her mind)

She backed off a little dragging the girls with her, leaving the boy's fighting with themselves'

Neha: Sharon what doing u?! aisa hum har jayenge! (angry and sad face)

Sh: tch! (rolling her eyes) girls sunno' (whispering an idea to them)

Giggling at Sharon's idea, all the girls moved back to the boys' they took a glance at each other and smiled mischievously as Sharon did a countdown'

Sh: 3'. 2' 1' GO!!!!

The girls kicked the boys with full might pushing them all forward at once through the doors and into the RH' all the boys screamed in pain as the fell forward onto the floor' hurting themselves'

The girls starting laughing Hi5'ing each other as the stepped over the boys going into the RH' but looking in, what they saw froze them to their bones' Taani on the floor completely broken and so lost in her own world that she didn't notice them' and Rey standing at a distance from her, anger visible on his face, he too lost in his own world' the girls didn't know what to understand of the situation' whether Rey had done something or was it not what it seemed like before??' the girls stared at each other as Sharon spoke out, calling swayam'

Sh: Swayam (worry and doubt in her voice)

As swayam and the boys got up they angrily turned towards the girls, wanting to teach them a lesson' but what they saw left their eyes popping out as Swayam's hands formed into a tight fist as he barged towards Rey grabbing onto his shoulder and turning him around to face him as he yelled at the top of his voice'

Sw: HOW DARE YOU REY!!! (grabbing onto his collar)

The threatening voice of Swayam echoed around the room bringing Taani out of her world' seeing this situation in front of her she jolted up on to her still weak legs'

T: Swayam (assuring and calm voice) it's not as it seems' woh'

Sw: (cutting off Taani) nahi taani' ISS BAAR NAHI!! This time' he'll have to pay for it!

R: (realising Swayam misunderstood him again) (rolling eyes) is it necessary to always misunderstand me?!

Swayam let go of Rey's collar and pushed him off' his eyes turned red in anger as his fist reformed'

Sw: HAAN REY!! IT IS NECESSARY! (screaming at the top of his voice) because meine AAJ TAK! Tumse jada IGNORANT, ARROGANT and PAMPERED LITTLE BOY kabhi nahi dheka! Tumhe pata bhi hai ki aaj kya hai?!

R: (rolling his eyes) ab yeh bhi mujhe hi batana pardega?? (sighing) It's Friday (giving a fake smile)

Sw: (clutching his jaws together in hatred) (hissing out his words) 16^th of May 2013! DO SAAL PHELE TAANI KE PARENTS KA ACCIDENT HUA THA ISS DIN!!!

Swayam's words echoed around the room as Rey's eyes widened looking towards a falling taani' her legs fell weak again as a sickening feeling formed in her stomach' her knees bent forward hitting down on the hard ground' everyone was still in the RH for a moment as their eyes filled with tears seeing Taani's pain' the girls ran up to her trying to support her'

R: taani' (looking at her lovingly)

Rey's eyes filled with tears as he understood the pain of losing loved ones' he started moving towards her with love and care in his eyes' but swayam stood in front of him blocking his way to Taani'

Sw: (glaring at him) don't even think about it' (cold voice)

R: look swayam' I just need to talk to her' and

Sw: (suddenly yelling) I SAID NO!!

R: I can understand her pain' please

Sw: leave (pointing towards the exit)

R: swa'

Swayam grabbed onto Rey slamming him against the mirror'

Sw: tum apne apko shamajte kya ho haan?! U DON'T UNDERSTAND! And u never will! Because ur a spoiled little brat whose mother didn't have the time to teach u manners! Am I right MR REYAANSH SINGHANIA?!? (sarcasm visible in his voice)

Rey's eyes reddened as he coldly looked up into Swayam's eyes

R: (cold voice) your wrong'

Sw: (confused) what?

R: I SAID UR WRONG!! (locking Swayam in his grip and pushing him into mirror)

By this time everyone's attention was on them' all scared at the heat of the situation' looking at Rey's anger Swayam's eyes loosed their fury and instead were filled with fear.

R: meri life! Meri maa! Mere seh related kissi bhi chez ko judge karne ka haq tumhe nahi hai!!! (glaring into his eyes)

Rey pushed Swayam harder into the mirror, giving him a threatening before letting go of him and turning away to leave when'

Sw: kyun?! (gulping in the fear) aisa kya hua hai ki'

Before Swayam could complete his question Rey turned around' his eyes red and filled with tears' his face pale yet stern'

R: SHE DIED!!!! Okay??! (sarcasm in his voice) is that enough for u? MY MOTHER DIED! Happy?!

Clutching his jaw tightly he ran out of the room before anyone could say anything' hearing all this Taani couldn't stand the gang anymore! She just hated them all to the very core of her heart! How could they do that to Rey?! They always misunderstand him!! Especially Swayam! How could he just presume Rey had done something?! OH YEAH!! Laughing sarcastically in between her thoughts' they had forgotten what day it was' but' but they remembered'

T: (speaking out loud) Wait! (laughing sarcastically as her tears fell) you all! (pointing at each of them) you knew very well what day it was!! (laughing) but' but you just pretended not to! So you don't have to show me that u care!! (crying and laughing at the same time) and me' (grinning at her stupidity) I thought that you were my FRIENDS' so stupid of me!! Because u don't even know the F of friendship!

She jolted up on her legs pulling the ghungroo's off herself as she threw them in anger and disbelief, sending them flying across the RH and crashing into the mirror' falling down they made an unbearably loud sound making everyone in the room shiver'

T: I hate u!! all of you!! (looking at them in pure hatred)

Taani ran out of the RH, tears heavily flowing down from her eyes as the storm started again'

Rey ran outside the college towards his car in anger' as the rain started to pour down he got in his car, slamming the door shut, he started the engine hastily hitting the acceleration pedal' his car raced off leaving smoke behind which was immediately lessened by the heavy rain fall'

*End Flashback*
