Tell me, why didn't Zoya go to Asad instead of asking Tanveer to help her? She had the upper hand. They could still continue searching even after Tanveer leaves.

The second point is feasible. But I think she can wait out. Saving her relation with Asad and gaining his help to find her dad. Its a win-win.
