I liked the epi today, if I ignore Surbhi's makeup. This epi has shown us that nobody is perfect. Everyone is flawed. Asad is flawed in the sense that he believed Tanveer blindly and didn't tell the truth to Zoya. Zoya is flawed in the sense she chose to hide the truth from Asad. She has clearly no idea about how low Tanveer can get. Similarly Dilshad and Najma didn't question Asad for the reason behind his mood swing. But again they were too shocked to think rationally. Tanveer was flawed Iin the sense that she was too over confident of her victory and has now spilled beans about her abbu.
I don't think there is any character butchering. Come on guys, we all know he is a very responsible man and lets not forget that Tanveer pushed him to marry Zoya. So he can't doubt her. Now if he told the truth to Zoya, as per his POV, it'd have hurt her more. So he choose to not to tell the truth. But he indirectly let everyone know that he loves Zoya as he said
jo mere liye maayne rakhte hain unhe main barbaad karr deta hoon
He asked her to leave because he wants her to lead her life with happiness which he thinks he can't give her. He knows heis nothing without her, still he is ready to let her go, only for her happiness.
Coming to Zoya, yes she under-estimated Tanveer again. Come on guys from the beginning we have seen her as a girl who thinks with her heart more. She is not that experienced with evil, nor is she that matured either. All this is required tomake her more mature andexperience so that when her turn comes, she delivers it effectively. Now if she doesn't call Asad you can't blame her. We all know the importance ofher abbu for her. She defied her appi, jeeju, in fact the whole society only for her abbu. She beared all the hateful things Asad did with her in the begining only for her abbu.So you can't blame the poor girl if she takes some time to process this information that the man for whose love she has craved for hervwhole life isn't dead as she thought. Still I don't think she will choose her abbu over Asad., because this was emphasised in the ajmer episodes. She just needs some time and space to process everything.
One of the reasons for my love for Qh is that leads are not fool-proof. They make a lot of mistakes too like normal people. If you think of the situation from Asad's Pov or Zoya's pov individually, you won't find aything abnormal. These things happen in real too. I have seen such type of misunderstanding happen b/w couples. The characters of this show are quite real
PS-Did Razia really dig up a new grave? It looked old back then and if it was new, how come Asad couldn't guess it, ,given that he is an architect.
PPS-I really hate the make up they dump on Surbhi's facr. She looks gorgeous with less makeup, esp without that orange lipstick. Anyways her acting was MA today. The way she depicted her the shock, the pain, the confusion and the anger! Take a bow Surbhi!
Guys things don't happen as per your wish always. Life always takes unexpected turns. That's life and that's what Qh teaches us-to create our own destiny and to accept what can't be changed. Even I considered quitting the show but then I thought if my life won't go as per my wish, would I stop living? So now, whatever comes in the show I am up for it, because I know at the end it will be AsYa. At least we know what is going to happen at the end in the show whereas its not the same for life. Qubool hai has made me quite stronger mentally and has helped me become a better person. I am a proud Quboolian.
At last for those who are feeling offended of Tanveer's comment about India and America, it is just intended to change the wrong notion about India-it's culture and tradition. Gul is trying to show us that the Indian system shouldn't be taken in a wrong way.
One more thing! I'd like to share something. Earlier the elder ladies of my house used to watch Qh without much interest, just because of me. But they now stay glued to Tv whereas I hide my face behind my hands out of shame and disgust. Sodefinitely, qh is attracting trp aunties with this track.
