BIG BROTHER UK SHILPA SHETTY IN HELL!

I know this may not be the best forum to discuss this but since you have alot of member from the UK can we add this topic on the main page please.

In the UK we have the Bollywood Actress Shilpa Shetty in Channel 4 Big Brothers House.

The poor woman is gettin g victimized by her fellow house mates :- Jade, Danellie and Jo. She is getting bullyed and racial abuse from the housemates as they are really disliking her big time. She is getting picked on and Danellie has called her a DOG. Poor Shipla is crying everyday....but she is winning the heart of Millions of UK viewer......

Last night Jade really laided into her and total her she was a "FAKE!"....Shilpa broke down...its really effecing her in a big way.....

Channel 4 has recieved alot of complaints from the viewer regarding the bullying she is recieving........

I would like to MODZ to help support Shilpa in this hour of need as every Asian person in the UK is total behind out STAR!.....Can we please have this topic added to the main Page.! PLEASE.

ya...it's true....jade,daneille and jo....but most is daneille....she keeps on bringing topics abt shilpa and says some nasty things abt her......m sure she will fell guilty abt her behaviour....

I've been reading this as well, it is on all the websites about how she is being treated! I can't believe it, she doesn't deserve this!

I agree they are being like toal brats and are making fun of her , i mean calling a person "dog", i never use to vote in Big Brotehr b4 but now i will if Shilipa is ever nominated to go out, as i really hope she wins coz they are making so much fun of her and Jack (Jade's boyfriend) called her a paki, look i'll just post article:

Celebrity Big Brother has now attracted 4,500 complaints about alleged racist bullying of housemate Shilpa Shetty.

Media watchdog Ofcom has received 3,500 - the highest number of complaints ever made about the show while Channel 4 has received a further 1,000 emails and calls.

Angry viewers claim Bollywood actress Shilpa is being victimised by fellow housemates Jade Goody, Danielle Lloyd and Jo O'Meara.

In last night's episode, Jo declared that Indians are thin because they are always ill as a result of undercooking their food. They also complained that Shilpa had touched other housemates' food with her hands.

Danielle sneered: "You don't know where those hands have been."

Allegations of racism first surfaced when Jade's mum Jackiey moved into the house and repeatedly referred to Shilpa as 'the Indian' and refused to pronounce her name properly.

Jade's boyfriend Jack has also been accused of using a racist insult to describe Shilpa, he called her paki, which Channel 4 deny.

Channel 4 was forced to step into the debate and said it was monitoring the housemates for any signs of racism or bullying.

The broadcaster said in a statement: "The social interactions and dynamics of the group are one of the key parts of the Big Brother story and viewers have a right to see these portrayed accurately - however this is balanced with our duty not to broadcast material that may cause unjustifiable offence.

"We take this matter very seriously and Big Brother does not tolerate bullying or racist abuse in any form. Big Brother is closely monitoring all the housemates and will take appropriate measures to reprimand such behaviour where necessary."

Yea I'm watching BB too and feel sorry for Shilpa... I hope there a viewers who are supporting her... The men are nice e.g. it was nice of Ian to point out the fact that Shilpa is being treated poorly by Jade, Danielle and Jo in the Diary room. Also, I saw on TV that there use to be a picture of Jade on this website belonging to this charity association where they helped children being bullied but they have removed her picture from the website because of the way she in treating Shilpa in the BB house.
