yes d mime scenes were like a treat.. i loved d scene when he is trying to remind her their childhood while she was standing at her balcony.. Dhanush's gestures even have so much depth .. the other one was so much like kundan, once again trying to propose zoya and also making her have a good laugh..

such scenes Dhanush does perfectly as he totally steals the scene wid his powerpacked expressions..

Dhanush would have been a misfit in Anurag Basu's Barfi. But, he surely can do a similar role in a differently treated film. I have no doubt about his versatility. His stint in Raanjhanaa was enough to convince me of it.

Even though Dhaunsh is incredibly talented but I don't think so he will have same charm that Ranbir had while playing Barfi!

Barfi was a cute, sweet character inspired from Murphy (like kinda)... Dhanush has this ruthless rural look... I don't think he would have been able to add same ounce of charm!

His movies are not even box office hits in the south. 3 was a disaster. And it got so much hype.

The guy is overrated.
I don't know what people saw in Ranjaana. His dialogue delivery was horrible. His sense of the script was horrible. He didn't even attempt to do something different.

Really ! he may not have the 'BLOCKBUSTERS' but he has hits n superhits ... pls chk the wikipedia ...there u could get the list ...

Maybe or maybe not, but it's difficult to imagine another actor in a film that had already been done. Barfi was fit for Ranbir, that could be said and Dhanush's mettle has been proven through Ranjhaana.

Hmmm...Read the post and the comments!! I dont understand why ppl have issue with his looks...!! U dont have to be fair and handsome to make it big in d film industry... Dhanush has proved it with raanjhnaa..Its talent that speaks & matters...its talent that makes an actor look good...and wen it comes to Dhanush and his acting skills he s no less than any superstar of bollywood. He can act well, dance well, connect with the audience, his comic timing is good..action...what else cant he do man??!! And ppl are talking about his flop movies...lol...Name one actor who never had flops in his carrier...🤣 Remem he is a National award winner...??unhi sab ko nahi milta ye award😆 xtra ordinary talent chaiye isko n he has that in plenty ..And ppl say his Hindi pronunciation is not good...OH COME ON!! Dubbing without knowing a word in Hindi is not a small thing...Hats off to that attempt and guts👏 and for us he sounded good except at some place which is justified..!! And if he had done barfi, the movie would have been a hit for sure...Ranbir has done it with his own style and Dhanush would have done it his way...I vote for both!😊 Way to go Dhanush...U rock man ! Jalne wale jalthe rahenge😆

I don't know if Danush is a good actor. Ranjaana is the only movie I've seen of him and it was a very bad movie.

But if he's national award winning then he must have some talent. I don't know if Barfi would have suited him but perhaps a movie like that made for him and he'd probably shine.

he indeed does have everything in him of a superstar quality. and he is one back down south.

This is indeed a FACT and that cannot be changed.

and moreover, as i stated earlier, that IF a role like barfi wud be given to him, he wud ace it, and that doesnt have to do anything wid the way RK played it, yes Dhanush has his different touch and ways to display a certain character, he wud do it in his own way and yes also cud make it a successful film.
