Considering the bundle of talent that Dhanuhs has...

Do you feel...he would have carried Barfii...if he was in place of RK..???

Hmm i dont think so. Barfi have certain charm n innocent which only rk can justify. Dhanush is better in intense roles

i really have no doubt on Dhanush.. you give him any role, he will ace it, be it barfi or anything else.. and in case of barfii, i m 100% sure, he wud very well carry out the charm and innocence more better than he did in Raanjhanaa, as he wud b playing a mute guy..😭

ohh u just made me wish to see DHANUSH in dat role now..

if RK can do dat role so convincingly then why cant Dhanush do ?.. i mean except d complexion, Dhanush has more superiror talent and experience in versatile roles than RK.. back in south he has played everything, from a lover boy, to a charmer, to a comic role , a psycho, a gangster, a struggliner, i mean every damn thing an actor can do and prove himself, Dhanush has done it, so yeaah he cud do barfii, and it wud be a treat seriously..

Well despite all acting skills, its important to relate to the concept of the character. Barfi comes from the cute Murphy baby. So a good looking hero is required and brutal truth is DHanush does not fit this bill. If looks were not needed then Om Puri, NAseerudin shah would have been super heros😆😆😆 Looks are important when you are selling a dream ( worldwide) the movie.😛

lets not argue about d looks..

and the TM dint ask that wud Dhanush able to sell d film, he/she actually asked taht wud Dhanush perform equally as RK did ?..

so yeah looks doesnt affect d performance..

nd nowhere in d film, i actually had a feeling that barfi was concepted to be a very cute boy ( its other fact that RK looked cute), the ONLY thing that was emphasized was he is deaf, dumb, and yeah a guy wid charm and joy..

and who said u that Dhanush isnt a mainstream hero ?.. back in south he is, and wid Raanjhanaa he had sold a hindi film too.. so yeah he might not become as big as so called " super heroes" but in his zone he is indeed a superstar..

No way.

How many of you even know Danush here, like properly?

The guy has never attempted anything different in his entire acting career.

He can play only one type of character. The average looking guy in love with a fair good looking girl. Which is the theme of EVERY movie he has done.

He is neither versatile nor brave.

There is no need for a hyperbolic reaction. I have nothing against Dhanush. If you watch the movie then you will realise why the connection-Barfi! It comes from Murphy Radio baby. That remains a fact of the story and your denying wont change it. SOmething which is integral to the plot cannot be discarded. Rest time will tell.
