their was one more show on star plus tv called Sangam ...which has very much same story as Saraswatichandra
In sangam too she had a lead role where she is a village girl in love with some rich boy...but somehow ends up marrying some other guy who is bad...she changes him in good ...but he dies ...she goes widow...and after lot of ups and down she is re married to the guy she loved and thus show had a happy ending
even jenny herself once said that Saraswatichandra is a bit similar to Sangam
