Episode 323 Discussion: 13th July 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Note for Newcomers to this thread.

Extremist thoughts and moralizing thoughts are not welcome over this thread. It is entertainment show we are watching. The channel calls their programs as entertainment and we are watching the show. Discussions are welcome in light hearted and in realistic manner. Moral policing is not appreciated. We do not want to feel stifled into that kind of atmosphere here.

There are several other social welfare sites that are there to discuss the genuine issues. If for some reason, it is felt that social concerns have to be addressed and ethical and moral responsibility needs to be exercised for watching entertainment, then; certainly the forum is an open place to create separate ATs and build up that kind of propaganda.

Please heed to this as direct request and conditional requirement to participate in this thread. Strong words such as psychopaths unless used in show, need not be used to instigate riotous atmosphere or start sermonizing.

POINTERS for Writing/Posting of your reviews and thoughts over this EDT

Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.
Regulate the font size. Keep remembering that. It is really not pleasing to see big bolded letters for no special reason.
The thread becomes a mess when you give your review and do not REST for sometime until others have posted. Please understand, respites or reviews; once or twice are good for few pages...don't make a regular chat thread with your reiterating/whining/complaining on the same point. For the online readers, the thread becomes unpleasant read. There is a separate Complaints thread in Main Forum.
When episodic content is emotional, take a deep breath, give a good lengthy review; that acts as your vent in one single post...and make an exit to calm down your nerves if you still are possessed by only what you've seen.

As much as i liked Madhu spitting on that cheapster, I hated to watch the flashbacks of those disgusting scenes again..🤢 finally Madhu knows, which all humanly & friendly gestures were misinterpreted by Bhai...

It is time Madhu acknowledges how foolish she has been. She is under this impression that she has a bigger heart and a better brain than RK. The fact is that she is wrong on both counts.

Getting friendly with a gangster,
bringing him to the chawl and putting the chawl people at risk,
giving him soft looks even when he pointed a gun to her husband's head,
making him a part of her revenge plan
calling him for a reconciliation even after he attacked RK during the studio pooja,
sympathising with him even after he took over her home forcibly,
going behind RK's back to get Sultan and his mother back to RK mansion...

The list of her stupidities is never ending!!

Today I did not feel as angry with Sultan I wanted to. He is a low life unworthy of RK's time. But Madhu made him important and forced him down RK's throat. How can she blame him for falling for her after making puppy eyes at him for ages? Before RK came to the chawl to propose to her she was busy telling Sultan that he understands the true meaning of love which RK doesn't!! Today she tells him that she is with RK and he has to fight both of them. Too little too late. She should have done this the day he destroyed the pooja and threatened RK that he will jalao his chita. Didn't she encourage him that day when she called him up and spoke to him so sweetly about reconciliation?

Even going to Sultan's house now was foolhardy, especially when RK has made it clear to her that he doesn't want her to go there even to murder Sultan. And then she goes and spits on a man who has just confessed that he desires her. Even though I loved her action from the point of view of her stand, a girl has to be totally dumb to do something like that knowing she is alone in the house with him.

The above rant wouldn't have come if I had any hope that Madhu will learn her lesson from the Sultan fiasco. But I know that won't happen. There will still be no growth in her character. I just hope that she redeems herself by telling RK that he was right about Sultan all along and she was stupid to ignore his warnings. Will she tell RK even now that she had this confrontation with Sultan? I doubt it

Nothing to say about Sultan except 🤢 He is the one being butchered now. The transformation from GHG to I'm-ready-to-dump-my-mother-and-son-for-you lovesick psycho is too sudden to digest. And the bad acting does not help.

Good episode... Loved both DD n VD performances... I love VD's drunken scenes... He carries those scenes with so much perfection.👏... I am still a biggest fan of their 4 phere walo shaadi episode... His drunken action n hate were worth watching then 👏 and drunken action n pain worth watching now 😭😭

Well, regarding the episode...

Loved the SPIT 👍🏼👏👏... Chi chi.. Disgusting bhai... The way he was expressing his lust n asking her to come with him are 🤢... Bhai please don't compare ur lust with our RK's love OK??? 😡... Pyaar karna koi bhi RK se seekna chahiye... Got it?? you bloody cheapo 😡🤬... Loved madhu's dialogues... especially "Thum kaise sochliya ki mein mera RK ka haath chorkar tumhara haath pakdoongi??" 👏.. Bhai doesn't know THE EPIC RK-Madhu love story... Bhai please previous episodes dekna youtube mein 😉... youtube ka matlab jaanthe ho?? OOPS, i think i am expecting more 👎🏼

Sultan's love confession - I could only go 🤢 🤢. He gives all the examples of how all her actions in the past have been misinterpreted by him just as all we girls criticized and agonized endlessly about when they were actually happening. That showing a complete stranger - a gangster no less - so much unwarranted gentle "humanitarianism" is unnatural and ridiculous, that it will be likely to be misinterpreted. And see what happened? The man has become an obsessive nutcase who is unable to recognize that his interest is completely unrequited. I think she has learned a lesson or two today.
Said it before, will say it again - the man is an opportunistic creep. Ok, haven't called him a creep before, but today justified it, I think. Sultan tries hard to persuade her by all means possible: saying he loves her and knows her worth (unlike RK); is willing to leave everything for her. He tries to buy her - saying he'll buy a new world for her, a world with just the two of them (and no unnecessary accessories like Aryan and Meera who have outlived their usefulness.)
Loved Madhu today. Looks like she has his number now. She literally spits on Sultan, and his disgusting words. She gave him home truths, accused him of using his mother and his child. Passionately reaffirmed the strength of her relationship with RK, declaring that he now had the two of them - RK and Madhu to deal with.
Side notes:

Madhu says she would be willing to do anything for RK - has she unwittingly provided Sultan with the lever he needs?
The BG as Sultan was going on and on was whacky: Deva deva with a twist. Om Ganesha, Shri Ganesha, Deva ho Deva Ganpati Deva" background. CVs are you trying to preserve his gold plating? Don't you know that as viewers are concerned, there's no gold, its all dross? ETA: Take that back, I had apparently forgotten that it is the Malik women BG war chant😆.
Good to know Madhu used the Kundra car to get there. No sneakily getting into an auto.

RK Mansion:

A missing RK. One thing I noticed was Sikky - what an ungrateful parasite. He is no longer the harmless court jester. Calling Madhu "chawlbala"? Seriously?

Madhu and Bittuji look frantically for RK:

RK in the studio - bereft, alone. Drinking. Doesn't want Madhu or Bittuji to get close to him, think that everyone who is close to him goes away. Madhu tries to pull him back from falling further into the abyss of despair. She reminds him of their love, says they don't need more. RK is pitifully happy that he has Madhu - something Sultan doesn't have.

Wonderful job VD, wonderful job DD today!

Only watched last 6 mins of RK mAdhu .. Felt really bad for rk .. He is totally broken and lost ... Vd is amazing and dd too ...

Did not have any interest in hearing sultans confession and the flash backs ... Not even spit scene was Enough to entice me to watch him . But finally mAdhu learned to see the man first before extending hand to anyone ... Hoping that she tells rk that she went to meet him and that rk was all along right about him .

I liked one thing which mAdhu said , rk mein lakh burai sahi but his love or hate is all out in open ... This is what rk fans all along believed and said and nice to Hear it from mAdhu

Bhai's lecherous love confession if it can even be called that was yucky n puke worthy!There was no need to intersperse them with those horrendous flashbacks, thereby dragging n the scene and making it lose its punch! And he dared to call RK, a kameena! Even RK's fake love confession n psychotic love acts are so much better than this sicko's priceless lobe for Madhu! And Please makers, its a humble request to u let AR be the plain old villain! He just cannot do justice to the complicated villain with feelings for Madhu, he just cant act well! As long as he's grinding his teeth, he's at the very least bearable! Loved Madhu's dialogues both to Sultan and RK about her love for RK! 👏 Her statement on the state of Sultan's soul made me really clap my hands and I appreciate her saying that she has learned a lesson from this! Good to hear that Madhu! Atleast Sultan proved to be useful in that aspect! And sorry for a moment there I had to resist the urge to giggle when RK with a bottle in hand was running away from a determined Madhu n Bittuji out to get him! And RK I think u can rest assured that Bittuji will always remain true to u! Sultan will have no influence of any kind on him!

@bold: Nahi yaar... That was played in many circumstances... When paddo ran away n roared at goondas who was following her like a tigress(in the initial episodes).😆... That usually they will play in serious or dangerous circumstances...That background CV's uses when these mallick ladies roars like a tigress...

Random musings:

Sultan's interpretation of all of Madhu's goodwill gestures...or rather misinterpretation. Whose fault is it?? Sultan's or madhu's??? A bit of both.
Madhu was foolhardy and foolish to accept him as a good friend. She did keep a distance from him, we all saw that, but constantly gave him a wide berth, whenever he behaved like a goonda even with her husband. And like she herself said, he kept making her feel mahaan, and she fell for the praise, maybe because she was vulnerable at that point, vulnerable after RK's revenge drama.
And Sultan took full advantage of that vulnerability. Even today he was trying to remind her of RK's dhoka. A friend does not behave in this manner. He always spoke to her as a competitor for her love. However, this sudden turnaround is the start of butchering another character. i don't mind, not at all😆, but pretty ruthless this game is.
SO Madhu spat on him. Sultan was too shocked to see her change from mahaanta ki moorat to Durga Mata. So he stood still, listening to her as she ripped him apart. Best line : Even RK cannot stop her from loving him. 👏
RK drunk and distraught, Madhu tells him, they don't need any God, their love will tide him over.

I'm getting annoyed with Dips-Sikky, why dont they show a consummation track for them, they seem to be so happy with each other?? At least they will get busy🤣
