Really flawed characters - Page 2

Unfortunately nothing in this world is idealistic and therefore Kumud having a massive ego decided to get married to a drunkard abuser without knowing. I mean Saras said no to her without thinking that she wouldn't wait for his sorry butt to come back and fulfill his promise. These characters are human therefore they make mistakes and the show is portraying the dire consequences our decisions have on us and the people around us. It' s hard to witness but that's reality.

I agree with you to an extent - but I think that the hasty marriage could only be expected from the Desai family. Yes ruining your daughter's life isn't a good way to restore your izzat, but imagine if Kumud hadn't married Pramad. There would have been gossip, Kumud would have been defamed, people would talk. On top of that, the Desai family had already gone through a great deal of beizzati when the same had happened to Dugba years ago. VC didn't know that Pramad would turn out to be the abusive drunk that he is. I know it's not a very good justification because at the end of the day what they did wasn't right..but it was what you would expect from them.

first he was like a saint only praying to God till kumud came alnone he became lost in love forgetting all his duties. Suddenly LNV woke him to reality and he came back to his real character. Its like he came from dreamland to real life again. That is more true to real life.

But all other characters are changing colors faster than a blink. LNV loved saras in ratnagiri hates him in dubai is it place issue

I agree with Minerva 100% the character development has kept me from watching this show to a certain extent because not only are the characters flawed but the writers don't seem to know which way they want to turn the show. I think they are butchering it even more because of its declining ratings. I had really high expectations for this show but its a shame they aren't living up to it. I'm not trying to be mean at all! Everyone has their opinion, but I too once loved this show and I'm sad that its turned out like this, especially after Saras came to India to tell Kumud's father he didn't want to marry her. I loved the Saras they showed in the beginning.
