After running this serial for so long, BV CVs have gone bonkers with Jagaya's character. Have some mercy and show that he and his mom has brains to learn some lessons from their life so far. Both are behaving like class 1 idiots just to prolong viewers misery with SanJa alliance. Sumi was so sensible and now just because story needs her to turn villain she is becoming one. Her character is completely losing ground. Also Anandi rather expressing view to her in laws, should have talked to Shiv, Jagaya, bharaiv and sumitra (in that order). These people have some respect for her but BV CV are going to show an ugly spat between a and her mil & keep marriage track running... Wonder if CVs had nothing better to offer or Waiting for the day when trp drops..

Actually I think Jagya's character is pretty consistent (ish) because of these reasons:

1) He used to be selfish before and never cared for others' feelings.

2) He has given Anandi a lot of pain already - he does not want to cause her anymore pain by causing troubles in her relationship with her in-laws etc.

He has grown as a character - before he won't care about Anandi's situation, about other people's feelings etc, and would do what he desired.
Now he realises what's at stake, realises everything and therefore he has agreed under the pressure of his family.

I have always loved the growth that the CVs have shown in the characters.

The problem is now he doesn't know what he wants. Also he should have realizes by now how Sanchi is playing around with everyone. Gifts, Tea serving/working, Puja etc Wonder why no one is surprised at sudden change in Sanchi's dressing sense. All people are just sleeping or pretending to sleep on CV behest

Excuse me, but correct me if I am wrong, what growth are we talking about here, if Jagya had any sense or consideration for Anandi, he would refuse this proposal, does he not see what an awkward postion Anandi is in, he is making life more miserable for her by marrying Saanchi and keeping true to his selfish nature...Sumitra who was once shown sensible and who supported Anandi, seems to have completely lost it...stop this nonsensical track right now...it is not healthy for anybody...the CV's should decide once and for all whether they want jagya to be the good guy ot bad...please make up your mind else the audience will go bonkers...if not Jagya himself...and what is at stake here ...poor Saanchi??!!!!! Somebody needs to show her a mirror and bring her back to reality...she is just a pain in the...you know where...
