The courage and honesty of Ganga

When dadisa again and again prodded Ganga to give an opinion, ganga gave an honest reply inspite of the angry looks of Sumitra. That is the marking of a strong woman. She might have cried and cried but when the time comes, she can face any fire.

I was proud of her courage but i felt this is not the right time for Ganga to show her courage and it's better if she just tells everyone that she is happy and has nothing much to say...i was angry when Sumitra said 'Anubhav hi kitna hai tumhe duniya ka?'

Sumitra has led a life of comfort with his husband and it's Ganga who knows how the world is and not always age matters like Dadisa pointed out to both Anandi and Ganga that they have acquired the intelligence in such young age when it took her to reach old age to get so much intelligence and knowledge...sometimes common sense works wonder which for now everyone except Anandi, Ganga and Saanchi lacks...Saanchi is super intelligent and knows how to make things work in her favor so she cannot be said to be dumb

I agree with you libs , i was also proud of her courage the way she was shown at the begining, but not now, courage can be shown in other ways and other time also, every relation has some boundary and she is not the member of the family till now, so she should have stayed back from commenting on their wud be dil, when she knws how sumi dont want her to comment in her family matters.moreover when she herself has feelings for jagya. Even though dadisa has forced her she cud have very well said that , u better ask anandijee, she knows both of them much better than me. Ganga was almost forced to give an opinion and she gave it because dadisa said something like ganga saved them from bad alliances before.No use of being diplomatic as sumitra wont like her anyway. Better be honest and sumitra must also realise that all is not honkydory. Ganga's feelings for Jagya has nothing to do except the consequences of such a marriage has to be brought before dadisa as dadisa herself insisted. Seems dadisa has more faith in ganga than dumb sumitra.

I am not into any camps. I appreciate when a character is correct according to me and I am ready to criticise if the same character slips.

To accuse ganga of ulterior motives is not fair. She may love Jagya but she is not so mean as to destroy his chances of marriage just because she wants to have him.
