I felt so bad for Saras today. Even though he made an impulsive desicion, he hadn't thought rationally about what he was doing, but now, when he realised his mistake and came back to win Kumud's heart, he must be beyond broken to know that Kumud is getting married to some starnger, some person she doesnt know.
The way Saras ran towards Kumud's house, wanting to stop her from getting married, pained my heart. I actually had tears in my eyes and inspite of knowing that Kumud will get married, I kepgt yelling 'No, No' throughout.
What I thought was a little unrealistic for me (but it happens in all the soaps) is that Kumud could feel Saras' presence. She knew he was around and so she was hesitant and unwilling to fulfil any ritual. And when she looked around for him when she found the payal, *ouch* , I felt that she would still give him a chance. All he needed to do was come infront of her and tell her he still loves her. This just shows how deeply these 2 love each other. They SHOULD NOT be seperated in a miillion years.
Now the only positive side of this whole situation is we get to see some great performances from the leads and hopefully some really intense scenes, and hopefully, hopefully we get to ee some sunlight at the end of all of this.
I havent read the novel, or watched the movie, but I am glad SLB is sticking around with the original storyline.
