why ruqaiyya?

my only question to ekta is why on earth has she introduced the character and named her Ruqaiyya sultana begum. why use the name of a historical character if they want to turn her negative? could she not have named her vamp as something other than ruqaiyya? she is one of the most respected empress in indian history and the true love of akbar. so ekta to showcase her own fake lovestory is going to distort the true love story of these two historical charcters? my question again, why name her vamp(have no doubt, she would turn into one) after the true love of the emperor? poor ruqaiya and akbar must be turning over in their graves seeing the mess made out of them. most people are going to take these at face value and start exclaiming of how ruqaiyya is a bitch and jodha (who had no existence) a heroine? my earnest request to ekta again, kill the character of ruqaiyya ... for goodness's sake dont disrespect the empress. i am pissed off at ekta. if she wanted to show the fake lovestory of an emperor , why bring his true love into the picture? in mughal e azam did they show anarkali and noorjahan in the same frame????? no, because they have a healthy respect for indian history keeping fiction apart.

I respect your sentiment,but still can't agree with your point..1st- I think you must have seen the concept in many daily soaps where the male/female lead is in a relationship with someone for many years,despite that one of them has to marry someone other,for their parents or for some other reasons,and one day they start to love their spouse instead of his/her lover..I have come across with a few soaps with this concept.I hope EK will portray something like that..The main problem is that if the show would have been based on now-a-days culture,then surely EK must have shown us that Ruqaiyaa is dating Jalal and for some political purpose he marries jodha only and fall in love with her last ..😃..but in those era it was too hard to even imagine..and marrying more than one was not a crime then.😊..

2nd-except the name 'Jodha'..the other characters like Mahamanga,Bairam Khan,Hamida Banu Bagam,Raja Bharmal,sujamal all have a historical account,and EK is introducing them with the names mentioned in history..But those women who are in Harem,they have no account in history and I read that Akbar had more than 5000 women in his Harem,so definitely it was impossible to the historians of those time to write down all names when they had no influence in history,now coming to my point,those characters which has EK introduced for her soap's purpose,she can name them anything,,but those who have an historical account,can't be renamed..

3rd-when EK used the name Jodha instead of her real name,she has faced protests ..that's why they are running a disclaimer..If EK introduce Ruqaiyaa by any other name,then I am pretty sure that it will surely trigger another protest against the show which will no doubt be harmful to its TRP.and EK then has to run 2 disclaimer,one for Jodha and another for Ruqaiyaa..😊
