Chapter 1
She slogged about in the driveway. She didn't want to go there, she would be late. But all her pleads where already rejected; with much effort and self pitying, she entered the building.
"Top floor" she said to the lady handling the lift.
She stood there with few more people and after about a minute, reached her floor.
"Have a good evening, Madam" The women said with a bright smile.
She nodded her head in reply and moved out.
Once outside the hall doors, she scanned the whole place. Rustic flower vases with white lily flowers kept at the either side of the door, just like the way she liked. She moved in and without paying heed to anyone went to the bar. She sat comfortably on the revolving chair and looked around; she wasn't in a mood to drink either.
Looking indefinitely at the crowd, she caught sight of Meha, her assistant who was clearly hyping about the business turnover. Not interested to be a part of the drama she decided to sit back and kill time.
Unfortunately Meha spotted her. She motioned her to come by showing the huge crowd; reluctantly she got off the chair and stood beside Meha.
"5 crore business turnover in 2 year, that's commendable Miss Rai Prakash" one of them complimented.
"Thank you"
"What have you thought about future? Extending the empire or something new in mind and a thousand more questions followed"
"Gentlemen I have a flight to catch; Meha would be glad to answer the questions; Thanks for joining us in our success" She said and moved out of the crowd before anyone could react.
The flight was more than 4 hours later but she wanted to go home, wrap things up and sit on that flight. Her pure determination and madness for success was the reason for the company's position. She was often labeled as the shrewd business tycoon; she didn't care. She loved success; something she would never give up. And tomorrow she would be starting on a new project.

He sat on the wooden bench looking no where in particular. He ran his hand through his hair the continuous fight in his mind was getting annoying now. For a moment he was about to stand up and give in but another part of him made him sit back, the part which had already suffered a lot. And regretted everything, everything he had done.
He could here someone entering the room.
"The Championship is near and you don't want to miss this. No more chances after this, you understand don't you?"
"Yes sir" he nodded his head.
"I'm glad the results are improving. I would expect the next routine check up results, to be positive too"
"It will be. I assure you"
"You better live up to you words, or you will be too much in a mess Reyaansh" with that the old fellow left the room.
----
He walked around the long corridors asking for directions and getting lost at times. He had sling bag across his chest.
"Are you a student?" A female voice called out behind him.
"Ermm…yeah. Why else would I be here?"
"Smart ass, new students don't generally move around with a DSLR bag in collage. It's generally books.
He couldn't help but laugh and grin a bit . "Yeah that's something I always carry around".
"Hi I'm Neha"
"Swayam here" and they shook hands.
----
A faint bang at the window at first and then the bang got louder and heavier. She got up startled. Her first impression was it's a dream but again the bang was heard, sharp and shrill. She looked at the clock, 3: 35 a.m. it read. Slowly she got out of the bed and moved towards the window. The night was dead quiet. No voice just regular bangs on the window pane. Gathering all the courage she moved forward and removed the curtains.
