Why are we being unfair to Drashthi?

I m not a biased fan of Drashthi; in fact I didnt even know her before JDJ. When JDJ6 started I was expecting that Siddarth will be the star of the show coz of his choreo Sonia. She is my favourite choreographer in JDJ. But Drashthi showed tremendous improvement with every performance and now we can say that she is a challenge for Lauren and Sonali-Sumanth though both of them are brilliant dancers.

There has been a lot of talk about Drashthi been unjustly promoted by Colors but thats not her fault. We should know that JDJ is produced by Colors not by Department of Justice. So Colors will use the show for their advantage. Fair or not. Thats the whole point of the show. We are humans and we all have our faults. So we should not point out just Drashti's.

Drashthi's Egyptian act was the best act of this season and when Drashthi and Salman together took off the ground for a moment you feel that they are flying in mid air. Though many of us criticised it for being a circus act not a dance. But dance could be any movement that projects emotions and Drasthi's act had a lot of them. There was hope, sacrifice, devotion etc. It could not be called a circus act as it was not amusing or evoking laughter at all. JDJ has evolved so we cannot call a dance, a circus act just because we did not see what we expected to see. In case of Drashthi we saw much better than we expected.

Drashthi looked extremely sexy in this act. She had a very authentic egyptian glow about her.

This is just my opinion and I mean no disrespect for any of you. 😊

It looked easy to the eye the the entire team with Drashti, Salman and all their backup dancers made it look effortless... Each one had an equal role to play and contributed amazingly to the overall performance. Just Loved the entire performance ...

YUp i have seen the tech rehersals where those bamboos fell on her elbows twice & he escaped mere accidents. so in the performance ny thing could have happen if backup dancers lost lil bit of balance but kuddos to all salman & team which made the act look so sacred with all lights moves & curiosity what was the act all about. the end where light go up was just fantastic. drashti is really blessed & lucky to learn so many forms atleast basics of many forms just few days. & participate in the competion get a good score. iam really waiting to see all the performances ahead, even mukti & lauren.

Well, Yes Obviously because Drashti is the madhubala of colors tv they are going to promote her and i am pretty sure drashti was aware of the fact that she is going to be promoted more and thats probably one of the reasons she took this show up! Yes, Its not all her fault but what i think is when she signed the contract she was obviously told that she will be promoted as madhubala. And any actress would take the show up if she is told that her show will be promoted. Its not completely her fault ..I have to disagree with what you said about the Egyptian act, I actually loved the whole set up and look of the act but...it was highly lacking of what we call DANCE! I agree, she is improving with every act but the scores of the egyptian act seemed biased to me. It may be not her fault that is continuously being promoted in JDJ but she was defo aware of it! and I cant help but get irritated because its just so ANNOYING!! She is just always being promoted as Madhubala! she is the one who always gets the chance to have celebrities going ga ga over her! Drashti her self said on her previous interviews that she is not a fan of Shahrukh Khan at all, But when shah rukh came to JDJ , manish mentioned she was a fan of him since a long time. I MEAN WHAT? i know its not drashti's fault and all but come on, it really is annoying when a certain person is continuously being promoted and is continuously getting all the the unnecessary attention. With due respect to Drashti, she is a pretty woman and is improving with every act and i also know that its not completely her fault but its just not fair...even her image is being destroyed! Yes its a colors show and she will be promoted no matter what...but COLORS NEEDS TO REALIZE THAT THERE ARE OTHER PEOPLE THERE AS WELL AND THEY ALSO NEED TO BE GIVEN EQUAL IMPORTANCE!

Any act can look simple sitting on our home couch and watching and commenting...but the actual act requires high degrees of flexibility, strength and skill. The Egyptian act looked plain and simple and like Karan Johar rightly commented , that act could have gone very flat if the participants were not flexible and up to the mark but it did look very good and commendable performance by the team.

Secondly dancing was less---it is because there could not be much bhartnatyam or kathak performed hanging from a bamboo stick...Drashti is a good dancer. Her 'Hoton pe aisi baat' performance in the Saroj Khan's show was awesome...Good foot work, good beat pick and some very good expressions...

The show has some very good dancers like lauren, sana and even Karanvir and shaan are good...but the show also has voting so not only their dance but also their popularity counts. Hence no point in blaming Drashti...it is better to vote for their favorites and save time rather than bashing ...oops sorry "criticizing" Drashti.
