totally superb...beautifully update...totally luv it...
its awesome...asad n zoya are too cute...wonder hw will both of them react since they are standing very close to each other...please continue soon...
"Mr Khan, aapka password kya hai?" Zoya managed to ask once she'd found her voice. She was almost afraid to move her lips at all, since they could easily come in contact with Asad's with even the slightest of movements. Asad stared at her intensely for a while as he remained in deep thought, completely ignoring the fact that Zoya had asked him something. He shifted his head to the left and leaned in, stopping only when his mouth was near her ear. He exhaled exaggeratedly, tickling Zoya's ear with his breath in the process.
"Zoya..." Asad whispered directly into her ear, sending tingles coursing through her body all the way down to her toes. Zoya struggled to keep her balance as she reeled from the shock that came with Asad's answer, both from what he said and the way he said it. Was his password really 'Zoya'? The thought itself made Zoya smile despite herself. The light coming from the screen went off because of the lack of activity on the phone, leaving Asad and Zoya in absolute darkness again. Zoya lifted a shaky finger and tried to press on any button on his phone again, grateful that the light had gone off and Asad was unable to see how nervous she was.
"... mera password hai D-I-L-N-A-J," Asad said at long last, completing his sentence after a short delay. He had paused on purpose, just to see how Zoya would react if his password were really her name. He felt a rush of happiness upon seeing how flustered she was, although he wasn't entirely sure why. He let the pause drag for a while just to soak in the moment, and finally broke it when the light went off and he could no longer see Zoya's face. He knew she would be mad at him now since he'd evidently fooled her, but he didn't mind that either. Because whenever Zoya got all worked up around him, she looked hot. Very, very hot.
Zoya tried to shut her mouth that was now hanging open in an incredulous gape. Asad had pulled a fast one on her! She didn't even know he had a sense of humour. She had half a mind to yell at him, but she knew he could easily feign ignorance and then she'd look stupider than she already felt. Besides, her face was still flushed from earlier, and she needed to deal with that first. She tapped her cheek lightly to reduce the blush before turning her attention to entering Asad's password into his phone. The faster she got to the flashlight app, the sooner she'd get out of the awkward situation she had placed herself in.
As soon as she had entered the password, the home screen lit up with a picture of Dilshaad and Najma grinning broadly at the camera. She smiled quietly at the sight of it. It was really very endearing to see how much Asad loved his mother and sister. Zoya had just begun to search his phone for the flashlight app when his phone suddenly rang and vibrated in her hand, almost making her drop it. But she managed to keep her grasp on it after an initial folly, which had Asad glaring at her. Both of them looked down at the phone to see who was calling. Tanveer. Asad nodded at Zoya, wordlessly telling her to pick up the phonecall.
"Hello?" Zoya answered, much to Tanveer's surprise. Why was Zoya answering his phone? Wasn't she supposed to be sick and in bed? And where was Asad? Tanveer scrunched her nose in distaste before replying.
"Zoya? Aap? Jammy kahan hai? Humein unse kuch baat karni hai," Tanveer stated clearly, leaving Zoya no room for argument. But she cringed when she heard Dilshaad instruct her from behind to just tell Zoya whatever she needed to say. Why was everyone always trying to get in the way?
"Miss Farooqui, Tanu kya keh rahi hai?" Asad asked, but Zoya lifted her palm up to tell Asad to wait instead of answering. On the other side, Tanveer tried to control herself from gasping out loud. She could hear Asad's voice, and it was obvious from the loudness of that he was standing very close to Zoya. Or in the very least, his face was very close to hers. Tanveer could feel the anger building up in her head.
"Mr Khan abhi phone nahi le sakte. Just tell me what's up? I heard Phuphi telling you to the same just now," Zoya replied, as her eyebrows scrunched up into a frown. Tanveer clenched her fist in another bid to control her temper. Zoya's reply was so vague! She could clearly hear Asad right next to her, and yet Zoya told her he couldn't take the phone. What were they even doing? Did they eat the apple? Is that why they were behaving so strangely? Tanveer badly wanted to question Zoya, but the fact that Dilshaad was listening to her every word made that difficult to do.
"Aap dono ne kuch khaya? Fruit ya kuch aur...?" Tanveer asked in a rush, unable to resist. She realized it was a stupid move when Dilshaad looked at her weirdly, before stepping forward and taking the phone from Tanveer.
"Zoya? Sorry, I don't know why Tanveer is making small talk instead of getting to the point. Actually I had told her to inform Asad that we won't be coming home tonight. I'm sure you've seen the news? The thunderstorm has become so violent that trees are falling on the roads and vehicles, so everyone has been told to stay indoors, preferably away from tall objects that could possibly fall. That's why Ayesha Bi has offered to let us to stay for dinner and the night as well. Both of you stay safe and indoors as well alright? And we'll see you tomorrow morning InshaAllah, if the rain subsides. Allah hafiz!" Dilshaad explained after taking over from Tanveer, still confused as to why Tanveer was beating around the bush earlier. She disconnected the phonecall and passed Tanveer's phone back to her, oblivious to the fact that Tanveer was internally cursing her for interrupting.
"Miss Farooqui? Kya hua?" Asad probed again, as he watched Zoya disconnect the call and look on confusedly. She quickly scrolled through the phone to find the flashlight app, and shined it onto the fuse box, taking a few careful steps away from Asad to stand next to him.
"Woh... Phuphi ne kaha ke they won't be returning home tonight because the storm is too dangerous. She told us to stay indoors and away from the storm as well. I think we should go back in. Hurry with this," Zoya finally answered, nudging Asad so that he'd quickly fix the fuse. Asad carefully placed the wires he had pulled out aimlessly back where he had first seen them.
"Mujhe lagta hai ke there's no use. I bet there's a black out in most of Bhopal now due to the rain. Let's just go back in," Asad decided a moment later, after staring blankly at all the wires for a while. He hoped that Zoya would buy his lame excuse and not realize that he was just saying that because he had no idea how to fix it anyway. He looked up in gratefulness when Zoya simply nodded in response before began making her way back to the house. He quickly followed behind her, as a thought crossed his mind. What were they going to do about dinner?
