DETERMINATION AND DEVASTATION: Chapter 28

It was 6 in the morning when Arnav received Anjalis call, after hearing his mothers story he couldn't help but cry. It took him 10 years to understand his mother while all Khushi did was look in her eyes and that's when it struck him, Khushi was exactly like his mother, his mother had given up 10 years in torture leaving her family behind to protect them and Khushi was doing the same. She was going to leave him like his mother to protect him, all because of this one man RODGER. NEVER WOULD HE EVER let Khushi repeat the mistake his mother made but to rectify the wrong ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA had to take this drastic step. He immediately called Aman to make some "important" arrangements.

The next morning felt different to many people residing in this hotel, Khushi woke up with determination; NO she was not going to apologize to Arnav for her decision because she thought she was doing the right thing by leaving him, she HAD to protect him and make him stay away from this mess. What is he to her, nothing but a short fling, she would get over it. But right now she had to go away, far far away from her friends and family and that was DECIDED.

Arnav had woken up to Anjalis blissful call and now it was his turn to play his cards and so he did, very slyly. Aman was given instructions, the web was laid now it was time to wait for the insect to come crawling into it, insect being Khushi, he knew her curiosity got the worst out of her always. GAME. SET. MATCH! It was showtime for Arnav Singh Raizada, that moment when he knows he is going to win the deal ANYHOW! And so he was determined too.

Payal and Akash woke up with the same determination; they had to take care of their friends. It was time to play elder sibling now as they were well aware of the two SANKIS called Arnav and Khushi. Along with that they were determined to take this thing between them forward. When Payal had woken up and realized she was tucked in her bed alone her insecurities about Akash reduced a bit. It was time to take a massive risk now, she had to give her treacherous heart a try. Similarly Akash had woken up to a living room which was surrounded by the amazing aroma of mushroom cheese omelet; his bag was laid on the chair next to the table, clothes prepared. He couldn't help but laugh at the domesticity of it all and the cuteness that was Payal for thanking him in such a way. He then promised to not be his jerk self with her, especially with her.

Lavanya and NK had woken up to different determinations but were determined to do something too. Lav wanted to confront Arnav about NK and NK wanted to be there for his best friend Khushi. He knew it was unfair to Lav but they had a major problem at hand that needs to be solved. After last nights fight which they had after Lav had declared she was going to tell Arnav both NK and Lav were feeling apologetic. In the chaos that is created in their lives they had to stick around to their people and not fight over petty issues. However more determination to fix the wrong was stirred in them.

So with all these determined people the outcome is NEVER good.

Fingers crossed and hope for the best!

After the reunion at the Raizada mansion, where lots of crying took place, Anjali had poured out liters of tears and sorry at her mother and Anahita had reciprocated in the same way. 10 years is a looong time to have stayed away from a mother. She wanted to make it up to her mother so she decided to bake, problem was the items available at home were not sufficient and as it was a Sunday none of the Prakash's were home. However there was a delivery service from the bakery she had read about in a newspaper and by using her unused brain she called up and ordered for the items. Rishab and Anahita had discussed what their next plan of action would be and now they were relaxing in their veranda catching up for the lost 10 years. Even after going through so much of hell and time spent together Anu couldn't help but blush at the way her husband kept looking at her, it was just the way he used to look at her years ago when they were in college. Life was so easy back then but now they had 2 beautiful kids to take care of and where Anu had spent the last 10 years fighting alone, she was thankful to god that she had her husbands support. Hand in hand they sat quietly relaxing in the pleasant spring evening waiting for their daughters homemade cookies and the special tea she makes. A future filled with bliss could be seen in their eyes. Finally they were home.

Khushi was all set to leave, she had packed a duffel bag with minimum necessities and now all she had to do was quietly leave. When the bell rang of her suit she hadn't imagined Payal would be up early morning at 5 am because Khushi knows Payal never wakes up so early that too when they had hardly slept for an hour or so.

"peeg what are you doing here?" Khushis over excited voice didn't go unnoticed by Payal, she knew Khushi was upto something but that could wait.

"Akash woke me up, he told me to bring you along to court".

"court? Why are we going to court?"

"why are you so surprised khush? Don't you have to sign the deal papers with Arnav?"

"oh ya.. I completely forgot, but why in court and why-"

"oh goddd!! You ask so many questions Khush! This is London, law is involved in everything you do. Plus everyones waiting for us their, im supposed to take you".

"who EVERYONE? And why wasn't I informed before?".

"well leme think why you weren't informed, oh yaaa' you were too busy playing hide and seek with Arnav, he must have forgotten. Now lets goo we are getting late."

Khushi had no reply to that, she knew Payal was right. She was here for work and now she KHUSHI KUMARI GUPTA was being disloyal to work. BUT she couldn't sign the deal, what will happen when she runs away. None the less Khushi decided to go along with Payal and sign the papers, she knew Arnav would never file anything against her and after she left she was well aware that Anahita aunty would take care of her mother.

Anjali was agitated!

It had been an hour since she called the bakery and the delivery boy had not arrived till now. NOBODY ever made Anjali Raizada wait for ANYTHING, hence when the bell rang she decided to open the door herself and give the delivery boy a piece of her mind. The moment she opened the door she was left speechless by a pair of blue eyes, the most beautiful and deep blue eyes she had ever seen, are delivery boys supposed to be THIS good looking. However the good looking blue eyed man cleared his throat to make things less awkward since Anjali was gaping at him as if she had never seen a good looking guy in her life. Which obviously was not the case, being the shareholder of AR corp. she had met her share of very handsome men but this one felt different. After thoroughly examining the delivery boy she came back to her angry state.

"ye koi time hai samaan lane ka, mean kabse wait ker rahi hun!! Aap ke manager na kaha tha it will take 20 mins max. now tell me why are you 40 mins late? Don't you know who I am, I can get you fired for your tardiness. Acha choro, kitne paise bhai?"

"huh?!?!?"

"meane poocha samaan ke kitne paise?"

"paise tho maine de diye."

"kiske?"

"samaan ke."

"aap kyun samaan ke paise denge, I don't want any favors now. I forgive you for your mistake. Aap mujhe amount bataen. Bus!"

"ma'am im not the delivery boy, your parcel was with the guard, he was contacting you since the past half an hour. I guess the intercom is not working, so when I arrived I gave the delivery boy his cash and brought this inside. And before you ask me who I am, my names Varun Roy, Mr. Raizada has sent me. Arnav Raizada?"

And that's when Anjali realized, he wasn't wearing a uniform. Oh no wonder he was so devilishly good looking and then she remembered chote had told her that he would be sending his most trusted person after Aman.

"you can come inside. And wo' I .. I wasn't aware. And im sorry".

"if you weren't this beautiful I would have never accepted the apology"

"excuse me?!"

"excused, now may I help you with the baking miss Anjali".

This was the second time in 15 mins that Anjali stood gaping at this mysterious man infront of her. First because of his looks and second because of his frankness. People who Arnav usually sends home were very obedient and always talked like "yes ma'am, ok ma'am" this one however seemed dangerous to Anjalis massive ego. She had to do something about Varun Roy before he drove her mad.

"Why is there so much press here peeg?"

"how would I know Khush? Maybe some political persons inside, we should go from the back door."

"how do you know theres a back door and is there even a back door?"

"wo..wo Akash called, hhee said we should come from the back door, he must have seen this probably. Lets go Khush we are getting late".

As much as Khushi would love to sit and contemplate over Payals haphazard behavior she didn't have the time to do so. Soon they were inside a private room along with the lawyers and 4 other people. Arnav, Akash, Lavanya and NK were waiting for the two girls, only when they had arrived inside, was Arnav peacefully able to sit where as few minutes ago he was pacing the entire table length. Khushi was trying her best to avoid looking at Arnav where as he was shamelessly staring at her and NO, not the flirty stare, the stare he usually gives to his competitors. The mighty Khushi however was not feeling very mighty infornt of this gaze assault on her and quietly signed where ever the lawyer pointed out. What she didn't understand was why so many people were needed as proof and two separate lawyers. She wasn't a law student but she had signed many deals and never was so many people needed around while the signing took place. She however kept mum but she wasn't aware the this was the calm before another storm that was about to come in her life. After the basic handshakes and congratulations Arnav had escorted her out of the room, all the while keeping his hand on her small waist. The moment they kept their first step on the stairs to go downstairs they were surrounded by press.

"Mr. Raizada the people are eagerly waiting to know the reason behind such a big decision you just took in your life"

"Mr. Raizada how does it feel to enter this phase in your life."

Khushi was mighty confused, she had NO idea why the press kept asking Arnav such weird questions. He had just signed a simple deal of his office renovation, why was everyone behaving as if he was renovating his life not office.

"Mr. and Mrs. Raizada, when can we expect the big fat Indian wedding".

SCREEECH!

That is how Arnav felt Khushi had stopped and there came the famous ASR smirk.

When Khushi looked at Arnav for confirmation all she saw was the smirk and she knew she was very well trapped in the web ASR had laid. And now she couldnt help but get stuck in it and wait for the big bad spider to eat her.

And that is what the camera men captured and displayed in all the news channels.

"Fashion mogul; Arnav Singh Raizada; with his newly wedded wife; Khushi Arnav Singh Raizada nee Gupta; at the London high court after registering marriage. Stay tuned to know about the real reason behind this shocking news."
