Will Aishwarya Rai quit movies to become a ghar ki bahu once she marries Bachchan Jr? That's the latest buzz in Bollywood even as speculation about a possible Abhishek–Aishwarya marriage this year has become almost a belief now.
Even though there is no official word on the same from either of the families, Ash has been spotted more frequently in the company of the Bachchans in the recent days adding more fuel to the gossip mills.
The latest theory about the possibility of Ash's taking an early retirement from Bollywood stands on no firm ground though.
For, the Bachchan family is not known for any such orthodox tradition. In fact, the first woman of the Bachchan home herself has kept a busy schedule in Bollywood all along her married life notwithstanding a brief hiatus of two in between.
When contacted for details about the Bollywood buzz of Ash Rai quitting movies, people close to Bachchan home did mantain that it is possible that Ash will be taking a long break from movies after her marriage till she settles down in her married life.
In fact, even Bachchan Jr is very likely to take a long holiday from movies for his marriage. However, Ash's hiatus is likely to be longer, probably a year or two, if not as long as Kajol took to stage a comeback.
If this much is true, then it will be a while before the wedding bells toll for the two as Ash has already confirmed a deal for the much-talked-about Gaurang Doshi film Happy Birthday , in which she will work with John Abraham as her co-star. The film is supposed to go on floor sometime in March.
"Happy Birthday is starting in March. Definitely with Aishwarya Rai. No, she hasn't backed out of the project. Nor has she refunded the signing amount. There's no truth to this rumour," entertainment news portal IndiaFM quoted Gaurang as saying.
