Girish Johar who was heading the Distribution and Acquisition for Balaji Motion Pictures will be joining the SAHARA PARIWAR as the Head of Distribution and Acquisition for their MOTION PICTURES wing and will also overlook their distribution and acquisitions in the national and overseas markets.

SAHARA is planning a big foray into the entertainment industry and is strengthening their team with key team member appointments.

A thorough and honest professional with around 18 years of experience in the film and entertainment industry, Girish has successfully released and marketed more 120 films, till now, in various capacities – including Godzilla, Men In Black, Jodhaa Akbar, A Wednesday, Fashion, Dev.D, Race, Wake Up Sid, The Dirty Picture, Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum, Shootout At Wadala, Lootera and many more.

Prior to Balaji, he was the National Head for UTV for all the Disney releases & also has a vast experience with UTV, Sony Pictures & PVR.
