Kartikeya and Devsena's upcoming wedding reminded me of something!
Anyway, Devi Saraswati was the judge for this debate, and after the debate and the acceptance of Mahadev's certification of the Atharva Veda, Saraswati asked for and received a boon from Mahadev.
This boon was that when Mahadev and Adishakti's first child was born, she would be the first one to cradle the child in her arms/lap.
Mahadev and Adishakti's first child is Kartikeya, and Saraswati DID NOT get to cradle him first after his birth (the six Kritikas did this) or indeed at all in the show (At no time in the show have we seen Saraswati cradling Kartikeya, Ashoksundari or Ganesh, or anyone else for that matter).
But now Devsena is being shown as Brahmadev and Saraswati's daughter. This means that once they get married and Kartikeya beomes "Devsena Pati" in addition to "Dev Senapati" 😆, Brahmadev-Saraswati will be his parents-in-law.
So she asked to cradle him and instead she gets him as her son-in-law! Who would ever have thought that Saraswati's boon would get this special unexpected outcome in DKDM! ⭐️ 😊
(I wonder if this is why the writers decided to make Devsena their daughter in the show?)
