Ram Kapoor as Jai Walia = bad choice

Ram Kapoor and Kasam Se is an oxymoron. Such a wonderful actor so wasted in a story where all the people are twisted and demented. Ram Kapoor as Jai Walia has so much potential, but alas his character has been fed to the dogs. I don't really care for Ram Kapoor as Jai Walia at this point. He is not attractive as Jai Walia. It's as if he is sort of being smothered in his own character and his true beauty as an actor is diminishing as his character goes downhill.

Initially, I liked Ram Kapoor as Jai Walia, but as time went on Jai Walia became really distasteful. I am not surprised that Jai Walia slept with Pia. Jai Walia has no backbone. He runs back and forth from woman to woman. Pia and Bani view him as a some antaryami when he is more of a kum karan creating rifts between sisters. Pia and Bani even regard him as their elder when they refer to him as sir or Mr. Walia. If Bani is his wife, she shouldn't be calling him Sir. It gives the viewer the impression that he is her boss not her husband.

Kya kare Ekta Kapoor has written the same fate for all her male protagonist. They are ever changing and appear to be as dumb as two door knobs put together. I really wish that these extremely talented actors realized there are better options for them.

umm i am gonna disagree...ram himself has said the two times he needed work..ektas given it him..so how can you say that ...hes got success because of ekta!!

ooooo you have a point there!! Ram has become more famous and successful after staring in KS😛

I guess it is ok to trade away one's integrity as an actor to be part of the Ekta empire. He has so much more potential and he wastes it with a woman who is interested in taking the common woman back into the prehistoric age.

Jai Walia is lost somewhere, I don't see the oomph I once saw at the beginning. He remains confused and backbone pata nahin kaha khogaya hai?! I just don't find him attractive anymore. Boring character hogaya hai...

Somewhere along the line, Jai Walia just lost the charm of being JW. But....there's still hope. The character is just now getting back into the raging bull mode 😉 .

But we can't forget that this same character brought Ram a lot of popularity and fame. He won awards because of this show. So it did give him a lot of recognition. True, JW's character fell a few notches in between but we'll see what happens in the future.

It nothing to do with what we think of ekta ..putting that aside ..he needed work he got and fed his family..now hes got fame has a stepping stone to whatever he wants to do...when you need a job where does integraty come into ...what problem does ram have? Jais innocent ..hes got status ...money that he look after his family .
