Today confession was perfect, he said what he couldn't and wished he did say it earlier. Zoya didn't forgive him, not yet, but seem she was not unmoved by it either as we see old Zoya back into her, picking clues on things that is on top of her mind. Glad they kept it simple and effective, Karan and Surbhi both were exceptional in that scene.

Your post is the answer to those who didn't find the episode as good as it actually was. His running for Zoya was not funny at all as it aptly showed, as you mentioned, his fear of losing her again without even talking once. He wanted to talk to her just once since the wedding fiasco and he wanted to meet her once, just once since he saw her from his car. He ran behind her like a mad man just to say what his innards screamed since that wretched morning. He confessed with all his heart. He didn't apologize of course. How could he think she'd forgive him when he himself hasn't forgiven himself. And yet he said 'please'. Oh the way he said it! 😭 He said it because he still hoped against hope that she'd stay. If he had continued insisting she would have, given her expressions when he said please, so she instantly walked away before she would give in leaving him shattered.

The desert sequence was perfect as it signifies everything he felt in this period of separation. How he saw her everywhere, how her memories haunted him. How he stumbled and fell at every step of his life in this past month. Her conditions were similar. While he was walking barefoot on the hot sand, so was she. Yet she passed by him when they met and ran away from him in the sequence like she did after his confession.

The last scene of today's episode shows how defeated, how lifeless she has left him as this fall of his is the final one he could take. Now only Zoya can make him getup and rise again. Only she can save him.

Now we all know she will. 😊

Yea the episode had so much meaning, although it looked like nothing much had happened. it was all about Asad and Zoy's feelings and where they stand today because of that selfish act of Tanveer.. and Asad's mad run was completely a result of his desperation.. not to loose her again before he could talk to her and it wasn't funny.

Agree with the last paragraph. Asad has done what he could do under the circumstances. A man who is defeated and has no weapon ( he does not know what happened that night) to fight back cannot do anything now.. its Zo who has to make him get up and fight for his and her love and their rights.😊
