I saw post Ban's character Dramatic.

Forget about just one character. How many of Indian sops are realistic? Most of them are way away from real world.

In Indian SOAPS , I dont'f find much on the events unnatural and unrealsitic .

Or may be away from India for many years , so feel that theses things doesn't fit in Indian culture. But may be they are now part of Indian culture .

If you watch Friends , Every loved Raymmond (USA) shows they go so weel with American culture. And feels so natural.

I agree indian soaps as well as most of the films are unreal. Sometimes I feel theses directors dont have brains, they chose the short cut way of entertainment. Although I like the soap called thodi si zameen thoda sa asmaan, which is entertaining and also has touch of reality.

Hey,
Sorry I have to disagree with you.

None of the shows and movies whether made in Bollywood or Hollywood make sense most of the time.

And only 5% of the movies whether in Hollywood or Bollywood are really good cinema which one can actually go and enjoy.

All Soaps are Unnatural. American Soaps are no less.

And all directors go for entertainment. Prime example would be James Bond Films...do u think that is reality it is pure entertainment.

And we watch soaps and movies to entertain ourselves.

i totally agree. i never keep expectations of Indian drama's because who knows what unnatural surprises they will throw at you. the programme Everybody Loves Raymond is a comedy which is close to realism and i do agree that American sitcoms are more near to naturalistic.

However i do agree with 'indian currey' that if there were soaps that were not real..it would be quite boring and unentertaining. TRP's would cerntainly go down. but if they were to make a indian serial non realistic then they should stay in their limits and not go overboard!
