Meera was startled,but not shocked at Prithvi's reaction..She knew she owed him an explanation,and was ready to give it to him too..So she looked down at his strong big male hand holding hers,and with a knowing smile looked up into his eyes,ready to start explaining to him..
"I-.."Meera's words were cut short,as she saw the unexplainable and first time seen extreme rage in his eyes..
"Come with me!"Prithvi snapped out and started walking towards a side of the haweli,pulling her with him with unnecessary strength.
Meera half ran and half walked,trying to keep up with Prithvi's long angry strides,as he dragged her to a lonely corner of the Haweli..
Now what is wrong with him?!Thought Meera in amazement,and she had not finished thinking this thought,when Prithvi suddenly pushed her against a wall,and locked her within his embrace,with both his hands placed against the wall on her either side,and blocking her escape in every way..
Meera stood breathing heavily,at the exertion of half running across the haweli premises,and first looked at his arms,trapping her on either side,and then reluctantly and slowly dragged her eyes,up his throat,firm chin,pursed lips,and finally into his eyes that were still burning with rage!She realized with a shock.
He is seriously angry!She realized with a shock.He is very,very,VERY angry!She decided,gulping down her suddenly arising knot of fear and tension in her throat..
Meera suddenly felt scared and confused at Her stranger's anger..
Man!I didn't think he could be this angry!!!I did not think,period. Meera chided herself.
But why is he so fumingly angry?!!What happened?!!Meera kept wondering in amazement.And as if in answer to her confusion,Prithvi interrupted her thoughts,his burning eyes locked with hers.
"What do you think you are playing at?!!"Prithvi asked in an icy cold dangerous voice..
Playing at..?Does he know-..Again Meera's confused thoughts were interrupted by Prithvi.
"You think this is a game?!!I'm your toy?!!"He raged out again in that calm lethal voice,which only managed to confuse Meera more.
"Toy..?What are you-.."Meera was again interrupted by Prithvi..
"Why are you doing this?!What do you want me to do?!"Saying this Prithvi abruptly moved closer to Meera,and instantly Meera's mind went completely blank..
Meera could not look away from those angry eyes,and the wonderful smell that were a mixture of him and his perfume,tingled her smell senses,and she already felt dizzy.His lips were also so close to hers,she realized,dragging her eyes down to those firm male lips,and instantly her mind started replaying those kisses,and the magical sensations those very same lips had created within her.He was making her yearn for those again,and her brain had stopped functioning entirely..
She dragged a staggering breath and her one hand moved against his chest,of its own accord,and the other hand held onto his arm,as she felt her knees buckle,and would have fell if she did not hold him for support.And her eyes moved up to look into his eyes once again,but this time the heat of anger in them had been replaced by a different sort of heat..And the look he was giving,made Meera's body melt with extreme unfamiliar heat.The heat,that only this man,made her feel..The sensations that were still strange and new to her were already coursing through her blood stream and nerve endings..
Prithvi was losing his control,as he felt his anger fade away,and his betrayer body started giving urgent signals of need and hunger to his brain,at the proximity of the girl.And then the girl's hands moved to his chest and arm,and simultaneously the wall of anger he had built round his emotions started falling like a card castle..And when she looked up at him with those melting brown eyes glistening with need and confusion,it took all his self control,not to swoop down and claim her lips,and also his victory in that instant.
In some sane part of his mind,Prithvi was still aware of where that one folly of his highly tempting action might take both of them..So he closed his eyes,and tried to gain his bearing and his hold on himself.. Prithvi unsuccessfully tried to get back his hold on his earlier anger,that had been his armour,from this unexplainable but undeniable need and hunger coursing through his body,and her beautiful flowery fragrance engulfed him in its magical spell once again.
She moved,very slightly,and her soft open hair brushed aginst his shirt,and the soft silky,wild locks smelt of a fruity essence of her shampoo,and Prithvi's resolve took another beating..And that was before the unpredictable girl whispered out his name,very softly,in that mesmerizing voice of hers,and her hand on his chest moved along his chest,to clutch one shoulder,while her hand on his arm,tightened its grasp,as if beckoning him to kiss her.
"Prithvi..?"Meera whispered out again..And that was when Prithvi opened his eyes and made the mistake of looking down at her lips directly..
Her soft rosy lips were pouted slightly in confusion,but to Prithvi's hungry senses,it seemed like,she was actually asking him to kiss her by pouting those delectable juicy lips..And for this once,Prithvi wanted to quench his thirst and hunger..To calm the need throbbing through his body,and making his senses go haywire..For this once Prithvi just wanted to get lost with His fairy..Whatever the consequences were,he did not want to think about them,this once...
"Prithvi..I am sorry for-.."Meera was interrupted,yet again..
"Don't be sorry..And if you are going to be sorry..Let us have a good enough reason ..to ..be ..sorry for.."Prithvi whispered in a husky voice,as a dazed Meera watched him slowly lowering his head..
Meera inhaled a staggering breath as he came close,and closed her eyes when his lips were just inches away from hers,his warm breath mingled with hers,his one hand had moved to encircle her waist in a tight highly arousing grip,while his other hand had moved to her neck and was softly caressing it in arousing circles..Out of its own accord,Meera's hands on his arm and shoulder, clutched him tighter,her nails biting into his skin,and she also could not stop the moan that escaped from her lips..
Prithvi's eyes opened wide,on hearing her moan..
What am I doing?!!He thought with a shock,as he felt her breath mingling with his,and stared at her lips beckoning him to kiss her..
I need to get out of here!Right now!And with this wild thought,he instantly let go of her,and removing her hand from his body,he quickly turned and strode away..Trying to put as much distance as possible between himself amnd his temptation...
Meera was pulled back to the reality when he removed her hand from his body so abruptly,and in a state of shock, she watched him striding away..Strangely she felt forlorn and incomplete..Her emotions more confused than ever..
Prithvi was talking on the phone with his finance manager in Delhi..He had walked out into the garden,while talking,as he was having network disturbance inside the house...
The night sky was completely dark and starless and was only being lighted by flashes of thunder at regular intervals..But Prithvi was engrossed in his discussion,and so was unaware of it..
He was so engrossed,that he did not even notice the eerie dark shadow of a man move among the bushes behind him..Another lightning lighted the sky,and those few seconds were enough to to make the knife glint,as the man slowly raised it behind an unaware Prithvi...
