Ruqaiya

is a interesting character with a lot of layers, but I felt that Smiley was not exactly upto mark, I expected her to be better. If you compare her with Paridhi, Paridhi steals the limelight easily...I think Smiley should improve in dialogue delivery...Ruqiya's dressing was somehow overdone...teh jewellry could have been better

I think currently the story is build up... So ar we got to see jodha n her family, Rajput n now they are covering mughals. This is important for future story 😳

I won't say the epi was Boring, it's just nothing much new happen still continue from maham anga, bairam khan n jalal own mother.

Very soon the story will focus on both jodha n akhbar with other character as well... 😳

And I thought I am the only one who did not like Ruqaiyya at all. Smiley is beautiful and all but this character Ruqaiya I dont know why it didnt impress me at all. I got shallow feeling from her.

I think Ruqaiya's characterization is very interesting...it's a powerful, multi-layered character with a lot of potential.

But Smiley's acting is a bit inconsistent...I thought she was still alright in yesterday's epi...today she was worse...totally blank in some bits and her dialogue delivery also becomes toneless in b/w.

I'm willing to give her time though cuz this character has a very important place in Jalal's life and their interactions are intriguing.

I do feel though that they should do something about improving her wardrobe as well...it was looking very tacky in contrast to the clothes and jewellery of the rest of the women in the harem.

Paridhi is a better actress in my opinion. I think Ekta has been shrewd in the casting...she deliberately didn't cast someone very pretty in Ruqaiya's role...Paridhi is prettier and more graceful and has a charm as Jodha which makes you understand why Jalal is drawn to her in contrast to Ruqaiya.
