Fool No.1:

Devdas: Left the house without taking Parvati with him. She was married off to someone else.

Later, Devdas regretted his deed and took the shelter of alcohol...

Fool No.2:

Saraswatichandra: Left the house on father's scolding. Didnt even remember his love and didnt care for the girl who is madly in love with him. Later, Kumud's parents married her off with Pramad dhan. Saras also regretted his decision...

replace want with maybe "obliged", "forced", "rushed", "harassed"...? Plenty of choice? Remember the usual Indian family values deals? Honour of parents... Fate of younger sisters... blah.
