I'm very sorry but this does not give attention to the many issues raised in the thread made by EdwardCullen https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/suggestions-comments/3649153/remove-sara-from-dt-and-supervise-leviathan-edited

I cannot speak clearly for everyone who commented there but I can at least try to state my displeasure with the way in which you basically closed of the thread after you made such a vague statement. I'm sorry but you will need to explain that closing note because it clearly does not say you are going to investigate/look into the matter.

Are forum members grievances that insignificant that you had to use the phrase "Just Cause some members want?" As far as I'm aware, when there is a democracy existing within a country or system, actions are taken when "Some people" within that democracy make a public outcry against the way the democracy behaves. It does not have to be the entire population.

Fair enough you may not run a democracy here because I don't believe members decides who are part of the DT and who shouldn't be but I believe suggestions are welcomed. That is basically what was expressed in that thread "suggestions" along with with criticism, frustration and displeasure. So are you trying to say, if the entire IF community ask for a DT member to be removed it will be done?

Are members suggestions really important as you say?

What kind of suggestions are taken into consideration?

Are there rules on what kind of suggestions are allowed?

On what basis are DT members chosen?

What COC are in place to ensure that DT members are unbiased?

Vijay when injustice becomes a law then resistance becomes a duty. The "Some members" maybe given WLs or banned and may never return to IF but how does that guarantee there will not be another group of people who will question your management skills or the way certain members of the DT behaves. How do you know that a vast majority of IF community don't share the same grievances as those "some members."

Silence does not mean that other members don't have a problem with the culture of this forum.

My request to you is that you give us clear answer as to what the next step will be in regards to this situation.

Very well written dear!! I agree Vijay should take a deeper look into this matter because there any many people who have an issue with this certain moderator because of her favouritism. Vijay should take our suggestions and grievances into consideration since we are a part of this site and it is his job to do so. People won't accuse some DT just without any reason we even had proof but Vijay still didn't consider it important to give us a proper answer after which, he closes the topic so that we cannot discuss further. It was pretty obvious from the DTs pm screenshots and her responses that she closed a particular members posts just because she considered that member a "hater" and disliked her/his posts because it criticised a particular celebrity. Don't you think it was not fair for the member?? Or is justice not a part of I-F?? Saraa also dint close a particular thread which was filled with abuses for a particular group of people till the thread reached some 60-70 pages. Is this the justice of I-F?? I think this question will be raised by many people. Does Vijay encourage biased moderation?? Because it is pretty evident that the particular DT in question cannot tolerate a word against her favourite celebrity, gives fans liberty to hurl abuses at non fans and closed the topic of members she dislikes. Hence, it was very rude on Vijay's part to not listen to our problems and i am very disappointed in him. Isn't it a rule that DTs should be just and should treat every member equally?? Then how can he ignore our evidence and consider the DT correct?? I think Vijay should answer to all our queries properly. I know he might end up banning some of us or giving us WLs but we aren't living in the Mughal era where we might be rewarded death for speaking against the kings or something. Also i am sure that there are many people who agree with us but are just scared to speak about it.

Anyways love this post of yours. I hope we get a proper response from Vijay and it will help us solve our query.

LOL m fed up of repeat telecasts!

i couldn't check edwardcullen's thread after yesterday but here ,like all such threads that too is closed with a highly hazy note ..nd vijay i really dun understand what do you mean by saying we do not act just cause some members want the DT to be removed ..for your kind information those members who posted in that thread had genuine issues with your DTs unlike the personal vendetta your DTs have for those members ..nd You as the Admin of this place are expected to take care of the issues of the members rather calling the members as 'just some''..nd with your note you have totally ignored the issues addressed in that thread ..what kind of 'we do check nd take corrective measures' is this?.. That thread is having solid proofs of the biased behaviors of DTs nd still you are not even bothering to change your dear 'note' **Actually sleeps*** please take this a little seriously this is not funny any more !

p.s! vijay have you even bothered reading the pm posted by cherryblossoms(in other thread) regarding your DT? ..seeing such a calmed closing note of your's i don't think so u have!

guys nothing is going to happen as i previously mentioned in the last topic...i said will virtual bhaiya listen...of course he will listen but to his mods and not us...i think his last line is enough proof that its a total hell of waste of a time. However, i still support such threads that exposes that wrong doing of the DT's and bring them back in the light.

The following posts questions vijay regarding the note he left.

Vijay, you reassured us that no DT could be removed just on our demands, merely because they are just following the rules set by you. Please confirm whether the following are part of your rules which the DTs are obliged to follow at all times

1- Openly admitting the desire to shut any threads posted by some specific member.

2- Openly asking the members to 'leave the forum and go back to where they came from'

3- Secretly bitching about few members despite reconciling with them openly, in their private sections.

Hello Friends,

Hope everyone is doing well!

It has come to the attention of India-Forums Development Team that the Suggestion and Comments thread has become a hub for members to personally attack development team members. Members are welcome to share their concerns about development team members, however, lately such threads have become a place for members to name-call and pass snide remarks. Till date many such threads against DT had remained opened to allow our higher authorities to address openly, however, time and again some posts continue to breach the limit of constructive criticism.

Rules imposed to guard members from being bashed/ personally attacked also apply to the DT. Furthermore, one of the new rule states:

Discussing the Dev Team: Lately there are lots of topics being created on the forum against one member of the DT or the entire DT. We realize that it's because you are not sure how things are handled or upset at the way things are handle. You may disagree with the way the issue was taken care and that's fair. However we want you to not create such topics that question or criticize the DT in the forum. The feeling arises that we want to keep things under cover. However that is not the case. We do want to hear your complaint but we also want to be fair to the people in question. All sides need to be heard objectively and bringing this in the forum just adds more fuel to the fire. By the time the whole story is heard in the forum the atmosphere becomes ugly and negative and we want to avoid that. If you have a complaint PM the DT person and if you are not satisfied follow the hierarchy and PM the next in command. When you are contacting us with your concern be civil and explain your point in detail so we completely understand your standpoint.

Hence, please contact the active higher heads, who have assured to look into the matter promptly, hence forth. In the meantime, any new posts targeting the development team member will be closed and passed onto the higher authorities to address.

As for warning level reduction, Vijay has clarified that only one warning level can be reduced for every three months period and if a member has received a new warning level and/ or has been issued several verbal warning level (which is cross verified among the DTs of different sections) the warning level may not be reduced. As such it may seem unfair to hold a certain DT responsible for not lowering the warning level when all DT have been instructed to follow the new rules. We kindly request members to seek the higher authorities with concerns regarding this.

We hope to have everyone's understanding.

This thread will remain closed till Admin Vijay addresses it.

You all have already made your point and as my closing note said that we will check the same and will decide if a moderator is biased or unbiased and what necessary action needs to be taken.

If someone has a complaint against a DT member please PM the Channel Moderator.
