Calling him by his name

I think the t fact that now Kumud calls SC by his name- 'Saras' is indicative of the fact that they will not be hubby-wife but friends in the forseeable future.

The reason that she never called him by his name until two days ago, is that she is still traditional in her ways, and even when they did not commit to each other, she always harbored the hope that he too will fall in love with her; she saw him as her prospective husband from day 1.

Saras is more contemporary in his outlook, and when he insisted that she call him by his name, she acquiesced since she saw that it gave him a lot of joy. But alas, this also prepares them for the upcoming twist when her 'tum/aap' will be Pramad 😭, hopefully only for a finite time period. One can imagine her calling Saras by his name, when he works as an employee, of her future father-in-law- Pramad's dad.
