Outsiders never really had to do anything to ruin AsYa. Ye kaam unnke apnon ne hi hamesha bakhoobhi kiyaa. Rashid made Asad into a man Asad always feared hating. Ghaffur gave Zoe a loveless life that only screamed of parental yearning. And then, as though this disease in the seed was not enough, Tanveer walked into AsYa's lives. Asad's best childhood friend that held his platonic love and unshakable faith. Zoe's new friend whom she took in as a sister. Inn donno ki jitni bachi khuchi band baj sakti thi, Tanveer ne bajaa di aur kya bajaayi hai. In short, whoever Asad and Zoe attached themselves to as a relation, they ruined their lives and how.
Anyway, coming to today's episode.Satisfied? Asad stayed put outside the Madarsaa premises. He kept Zoe's will and his own decision. He stayed with Zoe even though separated by meters. If not Zoe. her vicinity was enough for him. The moment his eyes opened, he ran back into his love's new home - just to see if she is okay. Desperate. Desolated. Depressed. But that doesn't hamper the intensity of his love for her even a wee bit. And what did he get? A letter of ridicule cold rejection - straight from the heart of a scorned and wounded woman . A letter that labeled his return into Zoe's life as ' ill-will ' of destiny. A letter that told Asad that Zoe did not wish to see him again. Not that it increased Asad's aashiq-waali howling manifold. It just deepened his depression and self-loathing. And he walked back into his house with Zoe's letter clutched in his hand - a little more depressed and self-hateful. A little more curious that why is he even alive. A little more confused and wrought that why has he survived to see this day.
Such was his plight and the intensity for Zoe that Dilshad - a woman who has hardly spoken to her son in all these days and holds him a part of the Rashid franchise - she could not hold back any longer. She saw Zoe's letter and she knew that Asad - no matter how unworthy or heathen in her eyes - he needed her. She gave him her shade and finally, Asad touched the precipice of his breaking point. Snuggling to his mom like a baby , he cried his heart out - She left. And i shall never see her again. In that moment, Dilshad was forced to face the reality that had been glaring in her face one whole month. Asad loves Zoe and even though the mystery of the factory stands unsolved and Asad's character still in darkness, - there is no force in this world who can come and say that Asad does not love the woman he has lost. Dilshad did not embrace the Rashid franchise - she embraced the son she has raised.
Finally, Dilshad and Tamaatar are identifying that Asad is not just disturbed and upset. He is slowly slipping into what could turn into clinical depression. Dilshad noticing Asad sleeping on the floor , his breakdown , Tamaatar seeing Asad sit in the same position and posture from day to night , an untouched coffee mug, They are getting worried for Asad. Dilshad and Tamaatar are not sending Asad to the Holy Dargah in the intuitive hope that Zoe must be waiting there for him. They are sending him there so that the hand of spirituality gives him peace and mental stability. They can see what Asad is going through but they cannot feel his yearning for Zoe.
It seems as though Asad doesn't even care what happened between him and that BCA ( until of course that she-cockroach starts her ronaa-dhonaa)- he just wants Zoe and his life with her returned back to him. That is what he asked for at the Holy Dargah- after the ascetic gave him an omen, a forecast that what he is looking for is here - and he is going to find her.I loved his prayer in the Dargah. It was simple and from the heart - return Zoe back to me and wake me from the dead. Asad is not unaware of his sinking mental state. He knows what is happening to him and he knows what the solution is. Zoe back to him and with him till eternity.
And Zoe? If Asad is crying inches away, how can Zoe's eyes stay dry. 24 hours ago she had called Asad as someone in her history. She even left the city but like Asad said to Dilshad- Jahaan bhi jaao. Apnaa saamna bhi karnaa padtaa hai aur nazrein bhi apne aap se hi milaani padti hain. Putting the speed-distance-time combo of Physics between herself and Asad does not change anything. She is here at the Holy Dargah - seeking peace. Not knowing that if Asad is not with her, she will never know any peace.
Who knows what is going to happen tomorrow.Finally, when Asad , having been through hell and back, having paid for the sin he never committed , having died a new death everyday - tells Zoe that he loves her , Zoe is going to reject him and walk away. Why? Because Asad was Zoe's pride , her faith and he betrayed her. She loves him but she refuses to be with him. Sending Asad back to wallow in self-loathing and in Tanveer's cave. What next?
Well, Asad has done his bit in love , even though no matter what you do in love , its never enough. He has had the karmic law punish him in a convex manner - gunaah kiyye binaa bhi ittni badee sazaa. He has suffered so much that Zoe should be returned to him not just once , but ten times over and more. To the point , where he is a criminal and yet he collapses in front of Zoe and tells her that he loves her. There is nothing much he can do beyond this if Zoe does not want him...
This is where Zoe comes into play. Save him. Save him from himself and from that evil woman.If you love him and you know that you should be together, fight for him. Tooth and nail. You always crossed boundaries for him, broke down walls for him, you fought him to be with him. Then, why should that change now, Zoe? He always saved you and maybe for a change , its him who needs saving. And only love can save him. You. Why? Because last checked, you are just as dead as him. Right?
