I'm sure I'm not the only one asking this question - why isn't asad more suspicious of tanveer after the nite of the nikaah - even if nobody else knows him better, which i find hard to believe of his mom, Dilshad, shouldn't he know that he was not capable of such action especially because he has never thought of tanveer that way and was truly looking forward to his nikaah to zoya?
I know he loves zoya and obviously feeling her loss, but asad ahmed khan is a self made business tycoon - where is that strength of character that got him to where he is? shouldn't he be showing some of strength that whilst grieving for the loss of zoya and missing her etc he should also be setting his mind to getting to the bottom of what actually happened on that nite with tanveer.
I find it difficult to continue to admire the self made, principled man who seems to have lost faith in himself without even trying to redeem himself.
