Scene 1 : Starts with hamare bhole bhale Amit babu entering a cosmetic shop to buy an amazing gift for his beloved wife Amita. The shop is full of beautiful naris busily doing their shopping. Seeing our lost Amit the shop attendant inquires whether he needs any help. He then asks her to show some pink lipstick. She then shows the whole rack. He is utterly confused and tells he just want PINK lipstick only. She still insists that all those lipsticks were pink in colour and Amit exclaims "Etane sare pink"?? She then shows--- Rose pink, Coral Pink and shocking pink. He sweetly says why don't you show me normal pink and then he adds that she should not confuse the customer by showing so many colours.
He changes his plan and asks her to show some nailpaints. She shows him a big basket of nail paints.He gets the shock of his life when he see that there are hundreds of shades and completely confused which one to choose.Picks one or two then drops it back.He again emphasizes I want to see nail paint. Poor attendant she again responds that she has shown him nailpaint only. And she applies one shade on his nail. He is flabbergasted and starts yelling at her and scolds her for behaving like this with a customer. He quickly wipes and asks her to show some perfume.
She shows him the whole rack of perfumes. Amit babu pareshan ke ye khahan aa gaya hum. As usual she sprays some perfume on her hand and he badly sneezes.He blasts her for that too. She sweetly says which ever customer comes and behaves in such a weird manner we also treat them in the say way.She advices him to be bit patient OR he should have got his girlfriend with him. He clarifies that he wanted to buy the gift for his wife and not for his GF. She responds 'Meri shubkamanay uske sath hain'. All the naris in the shop start laughing. Unable to bear this he leaves the shop.
Scene 2: Ammu and her gang leave the coffee shop and are very worried. Priti suggests that Amita should directly talk with Amit and clarify all her doubts. Jigna still insists that whatever they were thinking is absolutely wrong. On hearing this Amita gets angry and asks her how many proofs does she need? Jigna continues to defend Amit and tells Amit never mentioned that he would leave Amita. She also refers the way he was looking at her and his gaze was filled with pure love. She further adds that : Lips may lie but eyes always tells the truth.
Jigna asks Amita to touch her heart and then confidently say that Amit is cheating her.Amita turns her face and just says 'Yes,he is cheating me'. Jigna insists that she should keep her hand on her heart and she keeps smiling.Amita gets irritated and scolds her. Jigna is confident that Amit loves Amita a lot and Amita's doubts would be proved to be wrong.Amita becomes very emotional and says Amit would never do anything for her. Then they leave the coffee house.
Amit is with his friends Sanjay and Batuk. He cribs that shopping for girls is the most difficult job in this world.He says that he saw PINK colour and it had around 2000 shades. He never knew this and he came to know about this fact only that morning. Seeing his reaction both his friends are totally amused.Amit adds : Guys go to the market to buy whatever they want. But these girls go to market and them they realise what they really need.Batuk signals Sanjay to get the parcel they bought for him. It has a heart shaped pillow. Amit is shell shocked.Amit responds that what would Amita think if she sees this with him. Batuk jokes that 'It is just a takia (pillow), don't behave as if it is Ayesha Takia ' (Ps: Really bad joke) Amit responds that he is ready to take 2kg potato but would never carry this gift.Somehow both the friends convince him aur hamare Amit babu chalpade takia lekar !!
Scene 3: The mahila mandal of Shah family are assembled in the hall and are busily packing some snacks. Amit tries to sneak but Phallu sees him and calls him. Unwillingly he goes near them and tries to hide the packet behind his back. After seeing the snacks he mocks whether Amita has started namkeen business. The whole family is amused by his mockery. For which she snubs that anyways I would be free once you leave to US, so now you would be my first customer. Phallu asks Amit not to trouble her and all these snacks are for his US trip. Amit points out that there is a weight limit , for which Phallu responds that you can pay money and adjust it. Amita snubs him that after going to US Amit would be more interested in eating pizza. With new environment, new culture and new FRIENDS. Amita accidentally see the cover and tells him that she would pack it too and picks it up. By then he pulls it and the cover is completely torn and heart shaped pillow falls down.
Amita is shocked to see it and looks at him. Amit is totally dumfounded. Riya exclaims 'Pillow?'The whole mahila mandal takes a good look at it. Phallu is amused and inquires "What is wrong with you ?" Tina adds that he must have bought it for Amita. Amit flatly denies that he would never buy such stuff. And our Ammu darling starts dreaming : In a candle lit environment, Antra is giving this pillow to Amit and saying "Amit,yeh mera dil hain. Tum jab bhi espe sar rakhke sovoge tumhe sirf mera naam sunayi dega !Esse sabhlke rakhna !" And then they embrace. And our Ammu's heart breaks into thousands of small pieces. Amit says that Sanjay has bought this surprise gift for Preeti.
Scene 4: Amit enters his room is totally disappointed that he was unable to keep this surprise from Amita. Suddenly someone knocks at the door and he is very nervous. He blabbers and then seriously rehearses his lines. Kneels down,closes his eyes and confesses his love. Later he sees that it was his nani. Nani is amused but our ashik Amit manages by telling that the pillow fell down and he was just picking it up. Nani tells that THE ONE you were searching for is in the kitchen and she hands over the shaving kit for him.
Amit sweetly asks her to sit with him for few minutes. Amit asks whether LOVE has a place in ARRANGED marriages too?? People who marry first...later do they ever fall in love ?? For which Nani narrates her story: that Amit's nanaji was about to travel to some faraway place and when he saw the tears in Nani's eyes, he took his language and jumped from the train. But by doing this he fractured his leg. Amit is surprised that people can do such crazy things in love. Nani tells even you can do this, and Amit absentmindedly agrees then when he realizes he abruptly denies and smiles.
Scene 5 : Our daring Amit babu goes to the dining table and tells Kirit bhai that he cannot travel to US. The whole family is stunned. He continues that there is a major storm and now it is not safe to travel to US and he shows the newspaper clip as an evidence. His emotional filmi maa'Phallu gives the required expression and asks him to cancel his US trip. Evil trio are confused and exchange glances.The wise Kirit responds that storms come and go but business should not suffer because of that. Filmi maa persists on her order and our Amit happily agrees with her. Nosey Rohan pokes his nose and clarifies that storm is blowing in eastern part while Amit has to travel to western part of US. Amit then adds that the client has agreed to shift the business to India ,so this trip is unnecessary. Kirit snubs that Rohan would take care of it.
Amita is confused and thinking why he is canceling his trip. He continues with one more excuse that it is very cold in US and that he easily gets affected by this. So he suggests that he would go to US after some days. And our Ammu thinks he wants to finish all the divorce formalities and then leave to US.Evil Rohan adds that looks like Amit is not interested in going to US because he is unable to bear being away from his beloved wife. Kirit suggests that we can buy a laptop with webcam and gift it to Amita. So both of them can chat daily. Amit is not at all amused.He is disappointed.
Scene 6: Amit is adjusting the heart shaped pillow on their bed. Amita enters the room with water and sees him doing this and is bit irritated. Amit is about to clarify that the pillow was not for Priti but before he could complete she completes the sentence. She responds that she knows everything. Ignorant of Amita's MU , he asks whether she liked the pillow. She responds she liked it so much that she does want to see it near her bed.
Amit is heartbroken. She takes the pillow to the closet and just shoves it off. She further adds that she is not interested in knowing the history of the pillow. Amit goes and picks it up. Amita is keeping his used clothes and suddenly she is able to smell the fragrance of ladies scent. She again imagines Antra and Amit together and is unhappy. Amit wonder whats wrong with his wife and why she is getting so irritated. She hides her face in the closet and her eyes are filled with tears / pain.
Precap : Amit goes and hugs Amita from behind. She unexpectedly falls into his arms and they share a long eye lock (BG : La la la in male voice)
