Anupamaa: Mahi’s mehendi turns chaotic, Gautam’s revenge game begins

In tonight's episode of Anupamaa, the story unfolds with Anupama praying for Mahi's mehendi ceremony and silently hoping for her happiness. Amidst her prayers, she receives a call from Bharti. The two exchange warm words, checking on each other's whereabouts. Anupama reminds Bharti to keep practising sincerely for the upcoming international competition. When Bharti mentions that Preet is still asleep, Anupama jokingly asks her to inform Preet that once she returns, she won't let her sleep for long hours. She expresses how much she misses her "dance ranis" and assures Bharti that she will be back soon.

Meanwhile, excitement builds in the Shah house as Pari eagerly prepares for Mahi's wedding. Anupama, however, tells her to stay calm. Pari, filled with anxiety, pleads with Anupama to somehow save her marriage, but Anupama advises her to wait patiently and give things some time to settle.

Vasundhara’s Taunts Stir Tension at the Mehendi

Elsewhere, Ansh, Gautam, Parag, and Anil engage in a business discussion. Gautam raises the issue of a recent fraud and, while talking, observes Prem's nervous behaviour, which arouses his suspicion. At the Kothari mansion, Vasundhara offers prayers for the success of Mahi's mehendi function. She takes a dig at the Shah family for attending the event despite their strained ties. Leela sarcastically comments that Ansh should avoid taking their blessings since Vasundhara might feel offended.

Vasundhara instructs Rahi to bring Mahi downstairs and asks Ansh to fetch Gautam. She also forbids Raja from meeting Kinjal and Paritosh, maintaining strict control over interactions. Anupama, noticing Rahi's uneasiness, gently asks if everything is fine between her and Prem. Rahi admits that she hasn't had the chance to speak to him as he's been constantly occupied.

Anupama and Rahi Warn Mahi About Gautam’s True Nature

Later, Mahi expresses her faith in Gautam and requests Rahi and Anupama to stand by her decision, assuring them that Gautam has truly changed. Gautam then praises Mahi in front of Anupama, saying he eagerly awaits the day when Anupama will finally accept him.

In an unexpected move, he asks Anupama to write his name on Mahi's hand as part of the mehendi ritual. Concerned, Anupama and Rahi caution Mahi to reach out to them immediately if she ever feels unsafe around him. Vasundhara again mocks the Shahs, saying they are the first family to attend their own daughter's wedding as guests. Leela swiftly retorts, remarking that the Kotharis are the first to get their widowed daughter-in-law married to their own son-in-law.

Family Clashes and Unresolved Grudges Surface

In another moment, Kinjal encourages Paritosh to speak with Raja, but Vasundhara sternly stops Raja from interacting with either of them. On the other hand, Ishani apologises to Pari, but Pari continues to hold her responsible for the misunderstandings. Despite everything, Pari remains hopeful that Rahi and Anupama will convince Vasundhara or Raja to help resolve the situation.

The mehendi celebrations kick off with Vasundhara performing a dance, enjoying the festive spirit. Gautam once again insists that Anupama write his name on Mahi's palm and even urges her to write Mahi's name on his own hand. Mahi misreads Anupama's concern as disapproval, accusing her of not being happy for her marriage. Anupama consoles Mahi with patience and later joins the celebration by dancing gracefully.

Mahi Accuses Anupama and Ansh of Ruining Her Function

During the festivities, Prarthana gets injured, and Gautam rushes to assist her. He takes the opportunity to manipulate the situation by taunting Ansh, declaring that, whether Ansh accepts it or not, Prarthana's child is his. Furious, Ansh loses his temper, while Anupama stands firm in her belief that Gautam hasn't changed at all. Parag, however, sides with Gautam, causing further tension. Anupama confronts the Kotharis, questioning how they can blindly put their trust in Gautam despite his past deeds. Vasundhara lashes out at her, accusing Anupama of interfering in matters that don't concern her.

The episode takes an emotional turn when Mahi blames Ansh and Anupama for causing chaos during her mehendi. She takes Gautam's side and insists that he has every right to meet Prarthana's baby. Her words leave Anupama, Rahi, Ansh, and Prarthana completely stunned.
