Neha Saxena calls it quit!!

Neha Saxena who is seen as Preeti Amita's (Chandni Bhagwanani) friend in Amita ka Amit on Sony TV has quit the show. Earlier Neha played a pivotal role in Tere Liye on Star Plus opposite Shakti Arora. Apparently Neha Saxena's beau Shakti Arora too is not part of Pavitra Rishta any more and she seems to be following the steps of her love.

Our source informed us, "As Neha was unhappy with the way her role was shaping up, she decided to quit the show. She was told it's a month long cameo but it then got transformed into a character role which didn't go quite well with Neha."

"In the show it will be shown that she will be marrying Sanjay  (Dushyant Yadav) and will go and settle down out of country. This will mark the end of her character" ends the source.

When contacted Neha Saxena she said, "Yes, today is my last working day with the entire cast. I am quitting the show as there's nothing to portray as an actor. I was simply standing beside Amita. Now, I want to do more of lead roles rather than just character roles."

About her journey in Amita ka Amit she says, "The entire journey with the Amita Ka Amit team has been quite wonderful. I shall miss every one. Amita aka Chandni is a very sweet girl and I will miss her a lot."
