Purvis' openness to Arjun and being unable to see him in pain is a direct result of her finally believing he loved her and not Ovi (from his confrontation with her in the rain). I am convinced as i have written before that Purvi ultimately gave up Arjun because deep down she believed he really loved Ovi and not her but wasn't being honest with his feelings. Now she knows the truth. And now she can freely love him.
For those who think both Arjun and Ovi are still married and also Purvi to Onir, it will hopefully come as a surprise to perhaps find out neither of these two "marriages" were legal.,,or at best were both second marriages while an earlier marriage still intact.
I am still under the opinion that Purvi and Arjun were married first... too long to explain again.
As to Onir, if he really "loves" Purvi and wants to see ARVI married, he has been in no rush to divorce. Why not? It must mean because he knows the marriage he quickly "arranged with his friend" wasn't legal.
He also is really mean to her. If he truly loved her and wanted the best for her, he wouldn't be able to snarl and be so rude to her and hurt her so meanly. He says he wants ARVI together, then why show such anger when they are? Someone said earlier that he is a fraud and I think that's a great description. He also is like a dr jekyl and mr hyde. You can't trust someone who is different every time you see them, mysterious about the past, and behaving in inconsistent & contradictory ways. Something still not right and not revealed yet. I don't think he is evil, but the writers have written him as a character who is a bit mentally unstable.
But even if the writers re-write again, (they are notorious for that) and require divorces (not as interesting a story though), from the reel-life that exists now, Purvi has to assume there was no legal marriage, so she is a single woman. Arjun and Ovi have already both signed divorce papers, which pretty much frees him anyway. Yes he would have to technically wait til the courts decree it, but certainly he is free to receive the love that Purvi is giving him when his father is maybe dying.
Regardless, I want to say again how special and sweet the episode was...the acting so good by all.
Anki is so perfect for being Archana. It would have been almost impossible to see a different person there. She IS Archana 😆 I am so glad she came back but I wish it would have been only for a short time to close the show. Who knows, maybe that's so, and all the stories are rumors.
